Really tasty food, although I wish the the shish kebab would've consisted of three sticks and not just two. The lava cake was exceptionally well crafted though - nice and juicy in the middle!

I came here for brunch on a Sunday.... aaaand I’m glad I did :-) They recently added the “Açma” to their menu, which is a baked bread type, filled inside with Mediterranean black olive paste... ♥️ I had also the “Potrero Omelette” it was superb... and was great with the “Bottomless Mimosas” 🥂 So glad to discover this place. Can’t wait to stop by here for dinner and lunch as well. They have a great selection of Turkish Vine 🍷and Beer 🍺 #Öküzgözü #Kavaklıdere #Sevilen #Efes #Turasan

Our favorite spot in the neighborhood. Food is always homestyle, hearty and delicious. Incredibly consistent. Their Greek salad is delicious as is the Moussaka and the kebabs. Their hummus is also to die for. Great for takeaway as well. Staff is kind and the whole place has a family feel.

Food was Great. I had the KOTE starter, then the chicken. My wife Lamb Gyros which was also excellent. I got one to go. Nice quiet & clean neighborhood with excellent views when you walk around. Great staff very nice, friendly & professional. Leisurely pace...Love It. We're from Healdsburg area, had business in Marin area and decided to check this place out for lunch. Had a 4.3 avg... Love Greek & Turkish food......... Why not.... It was well worth the trip. Great place to bring friends for a different San Francisco experience. We'll definitely be back....

Pera, located on Potrero Hill’s 18th Street “restaurant row”, is an always reliable source of delicious, wholesome, and inexpensive Mediterranean cuisine. My dinner companion and I were last there three years ago during another Golden State Warriors playoff series and it was time to return. Our meal started with a complimentary, fragrant and tasty loaf of home baked bread. We split both appetizers, including Piyaz ($10), a type of fava bean salad, and Halikarnas ($14), a delicious dish with fish, prawns, and scallops in a picante red sauce. Of the two, we both felt that the Halikarnas was a “we must try this again” selection. We also shared our main courses (shown in photos): salmon filet ($22), which was cooked to order, and the “Bird’s Nest” ($18), a delicious vegetarian combination served in – you guessed it – noodles in the shape of a bird’s nest. Both entrees were excellent. Our waiter, Deniz, provided the excellent service we have always come to expect at Pera. Our total bill, including tax and tip, came to a reasonable $42 per person. Highly recommended!

Authentic Turkish food with a nice ambiance. I tried the Turkish coffee here and it is probably the best I've had in the US. My wife and I tried the Harem Style dish which included yogurt, honey, fruits jam, Sunnyside up and sausage with some other ingredients. It was really great however I think it can make 3 people full the portion size is a little too big and it is not convenient to take home the rest which leads to the leftovers to be thrown away. Nonetheless, the taste is really great and it is a great place to visit.

Dinner started with a really nice olives appetiser and warm and soft bread. The olives were so nice that we asked for more to the kind waiter. That was my first time having Moussaka and I can say I loved it. The filling was really tasty and the tomato sauce smooth. If you are into some Mediterranean food today, you should definitely check out this place

Outstanding find! We were in the city for our daughter's birthday and she wanted something Mediterranean. Asked her to look up spots on her phone and find us a good one. She picked a winner! The potato wrapped scallops were super tasty for a starter. The salmon with fennel and saffron sauce was spot on as were the chicken shish kebabs.

I only ate here once but it is already one of my favorite places. The staff and especially our waitress (Metin) were nice and hospitable. We were seated immediately and the food came on time. The quality of the food was very good. I ordered Moussaka which was delicious and my boyfriend ordered a dish called Iskender and he was very satisfied with it, the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. For dessert, I ordered Turkish coffee and a sweet called Kunefe, I do not know the exact ingredients but it was really really delicious. We were very satisfied with both the food and the service. I would totally recommend this place.

Went for lunch and was very impressed by this restaurant. I got the lamb skewer and it was excellent. They also served some fresh bread with an oil dip that was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be going back next time I am in town.
