Great food....
Nice atmosphere......
Reasonable prices.......
I loved all the food and the excellent decoration, just amazing!
Have had two nice meals there. My date's chicken was a little tough last night; I tried it myself. Giving five stars because I am sure this will be corrected based on my feedback.
Papaya salad is delicious and my favorite! Very fancy Laos food!
The way food was presented at this eatery reminded me of Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine. I tried the S & P crispy pork belly, and that dish, served prettily on blue plates had lots of eye appeal. A perfect mound of rice sat beautifully with chunky cubes of fatty pork. The matcha lava cake was noteworthy, it was nutty, earthy, and sweet. The service was quick and efficient. The eatery is designed tastefully too.
My friends and I had a great time here! The fried chicken wing is fantastic! The matcha dessert, calamari, pineapple 🍍 fried rice, green curry lamb chop are also very delicious! Definitely worth a visit for us coming from south bay!
The decor, food, service and ambiance were amazing. We ordered our food and it was on our table within 5 minutes. Everything was delicious too and such a pleasure to look at.
Went here for dinner and had a great experience. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was delicious. Portions are large, so consider sharing plates!
It was my first time visiting Lao Table with a bunch of work friends and I was amazed by what this place has to offer. Its just a few mins walk from Salesforce tower in a tiny unassuming hole in the wall. But inside, its a colorful world with beautiful lamps and some mouth-watering Laotian food. I was highly impressed by the decor and the staff was helpful too - letting us know that certain dishes had peanuts incase someone had allergies or fish oil incase we had Vegans among us.
Coming to the Food - right from the drinks to the appetizers to the main course, everything was sooo flavorful and colorful. We had Oysters - that were absolutely fresh, Watermelon Salad was huge but yum and Thai basil chicken fried rice was bursting with flavors. Also the garlic chicken Wings were a nice twist. All the drinks we ordered were delicious. I highly recommend Sticky Rice with Mango - it felt like I was back in Southeast Asia, also the mango shaved ice was tasty.
Overall I highly recommend Lao Table and can't wait to go back!!!
Best restaurant ever! I was in San Francisco on business for a few weeks. I went to this restaurant for dinner several times during my stay. I ate a different meal each time. I didn’t know it was possible for a restaurant to have perfect consistency across all dishes when it comes to freshness, presentation, and such potent flavor ( unique to each dish of course ). Despite the normal ( sadly ) trashy upkeep of the CITY of SF, this little treasure not only exists but is THRIVING. If the owners read this review, I hope they seriously consider my suggestion of opening another location in Dallas where I’m from. I’m really going to miss this place. Such great food.
Been wanting to try Lao Table for the longest time. Parking is horrible! Because of this, I've only had their food delivered by DD. It's not the same. It's like ordering a salt and pepper crab to be delivered! Does not do the food justice! One of the few places in SF that offers the steak a la " cry"! The meat used for this dish was high quality.
Another standout dish was the seabass clay pot. Wonderful taste and is filled with aroma. Oh, don't forget the matcha Lava cake. Beautiful presentation and simply delicious and brought along by U Dessert Story.
Stumbled upon Lao Table while staying at the Clancy for the Sickick concert. Super clean, very friendly staff, and the food was delicious! Everything was presented in a stunning arrangement (literally just like the menu photos). We had chicken satay and wrapping vegetables crispy rolls as apps, then followed with Spicy Thai basil chicken and Khaw Kai noodles. Side note: Their "medium" spicy had my husband CRYING. Be careful :) Absolutely recommend this place, can't wait to be back!

Lao Table was the best place to host our wedding reception!! When planning our wedding we lived a few states away and found this amazing place. We didn't get the wedding planning experience to test the food out before deciding to go with Lao Table but we are so glad that we picked this place! We emailed Tasha, the manager, and after some decision making we decided to choose Lao Table for our event. Little did we know their food was SOO AMAZING! Their service was beyond our expectation and accommodations to all our needs were met and MORE! We communicated through email and talking on the phone and she showed me pictures of the restaurant and decor options. Manager and Owner were so helpful and very accommodating. I couldn't be happier, especially on the day of the event. My husband and I were just so amazed how much effort and time they all took to help make our day just so much more special for us. We were so shocked at how perfect everything was and we are just so satisfied with their service, FOOD & Drinks!! If you are planning your next event I would highly suggest booking Lao Table, they know how to host!

High quality Thai food in town.
We had a good time over there and staffs were so friendly.
Food is great and delicious but a bit expensive compared with other Thai restaurant in town.
Recommended dish: Khaw-kai, Gai Yaang Khamin, and green papaya salad
Went here on a Friday night and it was quite busy but we got a place to sit right away.
We recently moved to the Bay area and had been looking for a good Thai place (similar to Thai Villa in NYC). This place definitely stood up to the standards.
We ordered the Lao Rice, Red Curry with chicken, hot thaidy (Christmas special drink) and mai tai. The food was perfect balance of spicy and flavorful.! It was exactly what we were looking for!
I believe it is a BYOB as well.
We would definitely visit again and try other items on their menu!
Purely from the food perspective, I would give Lao Table 4 stars. The ingredients are solid, and cooked well with great presentation. Yes, there are times when something is too "spiced" and garnished unnecessarily, or the sauce does not gel perfectly with the food, but they well make up for it in how they put it together. The visuals are mouth-watering, and it definitely helps.
Tuna poke was a bit heavy on seasoning, grilled squid and chicken satay was bland and expected us to compensate with sauce (which is somewhat a different way of mixing taste), the pho duck was a bit dry, etc. Don't get me wrong - the food is good. But it won't widen your eyes upon first bite. Special hats off to the Thai Iced Tea shaved ice (cha yen). This is a MUST HAVE!
Now why the upgrade to 5 stars. We had a great time. The service was great, food delivery was fast, and just the overall atmosphere of the restaurant truly encourages a great time between colleagues, friends and family. We're definitely returning again on the next opportunity! Yes, it could feel a bit over-priced. But for the overall value we got, we'd repeat it any day.
In one word, amazing. Loved everything about this place. Yes it is on the bit expensive side but the tasty food and amazing ambience definitely makes it worth the buck.
The only small issue that I can think of is the slow waiter response ( although that can also be forgiven because the food came a few minutes after we gave the order) and probably that was because they were almost working at capacity.
Now to the food that I ordered:
❤️ Vegetarian red curry was super and I just loved the tofu they put in it, I rarely like the tofu but the tofu they used was just the perfect amount of firm and soft.
❤️ Vegan pad mee lao was better than I expected. I generally don't order pad Thai in Thai places because I find it a little too dry for my likeness but there was something special about lao pad mee noodles and they were just perfect for me.
Fantastic food, great ambiance, and great service! I ordered the chicken curry, fresh rolls, and spicy basil bowl and all were delicious and full of flavor! Highly recommend while in the neighborhood and can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!
I came here as part of a team dinner, it was a great experience. The staff was very sweet and helpful, and accommodated a last-min request to move the reservation up earlier. The appetizers and main course were really good but what nailed the meal for us were the desserts!!! Just too good. I especially loved the one with coconut icecream and red bean and sticky rice. Must try! There were ample options for vegetarians. Ambiance and vibe was great too. If you are near SF Downtown, highly recommend going here for some good Asian food.
