Angkor Borei - San Francisco - Photo album

A gateway to a different world, with good food included. The interior is magical. Our server was an affable lady, she was amazing and very kind. For food, we ordered a squash curry (yes, there is such a thing) and a remarkable salad. Planning to come here again, for the staff, food, and the atmosp
Good taste like Khmer food. The taste of food and how the food look might be similar to Thai food a little bit since Angkor Borei restaurant run by husband and wife which man is from Thailand and lady is from Cambodia. The lady who runs this business is sweet and caring. The way she treats me is rec
Love coming here when I'm craving authentic Cambodian food. The service is fantastic, as is the quality of the food. Don't be afraid to give the fish amok a try if you want a truly authentic Khmer dish.
Ordered the Pumpkin Curry and Pan Fried Fish Fillet (Garlic Fish Sauce) - Love it and it is pretty. The Crepe (vegetarian) is interesting as it is mixed with some coconut sweet shavings
We came as a group of 7. Ordered 6 dishes to share. I enjoyed the fish bake in banana leaves, the fry fish and a eggplant dish. We also had chili chicken, a beef stir fry dish; these latter two dishes were all right. The portion sizes were smaller than expected. There's street parking only, the s
I would say this is one of the hidden gems. Good food and friendly staff. We ordered two curry dishes, 1 spinach wrap (which was quite nice, my favorite), 1 steamed fish egg dish (forgot the name), and 1 fried rice with shrimp. It was great for 5 ppl. I never had Cambodian food so it was a great fir
Great food, different and interesting. A large number of gluten free options. Red house wine is a good addition to the food and the pumpkin dish is a smash! Also tried the crepe, was delicious. The owner is super nice and welcoming. Definitely come again!
I love this place! The decor is kind of fancy, but the prices aren't much at all, only about $11-12 per entree. I wasn't sure if I'd like Cambodian food. I did work at a Cambodian Center before, but all that homemade food was very different. This tasted like Thai food to me, which I love. I've had
Can't say enough good things about this place. The service is phenomenal here -- the folks who run it are super sweet and caring. It's kind of like being in a Cambodian family's home. The food is super yummy -- was craving Cambodian food and it's not very common in the Bay area. This place is absolu
Great value for solid Cambodian food. I love the larb here and really every dish has great flavors. Service is warm and friendly. One of my favorite local options! Also helps that it reminds of the one trip I took to Cambodia :)
