My absolute favorite Sushi place in SF.
Great staff, great service and on top - a marvelous selection of whisky/whiskey
What more can you ask for?
Best place hands down...best sushi, best services
Great sushi! Even better drinks! Friendly staff. Love this place.
Good food, love how nice the staff is. It's great it's so close to the hospital, and kid friendly. AND that make great drinks.
Local sushi place with huge IPA & whiskey selection. Eat here now!
Moshi moshi! The menu is so big it’s overwhelming, but the good news is you can’t really go wrong. Lots of delicious fresh fish and sushi, flavorful soups, and excellent cocktails. Great spot for dinner or date night.
Haven’t been to this restaurant in a year, they have new renovations and an updated menu.
Food was delicious, fish was fresh.
Lots of unique flavors and ingredients. The best thing I like is that the crab is real crab not imitation crab.
Honestly everything was pretty good, would highly recommend.
My husband and I went here on a Saturday night with a reservation. The restaurant is easily accessible by train and very close to the Chase center.
We chose to sit outside, in their outdoor patio, which has a heater and is covered. We were the only ones outside, maybe because of the rain? The overall vibe was great - it’s kind of cozy but also intimate. They really put enough thought in the details and decor of the restaurant.
Everything we ordered was good. We ordered the following:
- Moshi Moshi Wings, love the char taste to it except the bloody color. Server did tell us that it’s just the marinade but it’s cooked.
- Unagi Bomb
- Sun Dragon Roll, it has real snow crab, unagi, and tempura
- Katsudon, tastes good but nothing spectacular
- Pot of tea
Service was good and attentive.
Will definitely come back for another date night.
Generous portions. Quiet place. Great value.
Came here with a reservation on a Monday night and it wasn't super packed.
Good:
- Loved the bacon-wrapped mochi - just super unique and tastes super good - though tiny portion sizes
- Gyoza was also super super good and had a good amount of filling
- Fan of the sushi rolls to - I liked the one with cream cheese in it the best
- The service was really good - lots of checking in on us and refilling of waters
Bad:
- Portion sizes are small
- Expensive for the amount of food you get
Overall love how close to me this place is and it's really nice for the area!
Outstanding quality; creative seasoning and combinations in the specials; excellent service. The decaf cold barley tea was also really good. One of the best sushi places I've been to in SF. Had the bacon wrapped mochi, sake bomb, haleakala and a few more small dishes.
We came here before watching Warriors game at Chase Center. The restaurant is in the middle of the route from 22nd street to Chase Center, which is a very convenient. The food is pretty good just a bit pricy. This place is very popular, especially at the Game day. So good to reserve seats in advance.
Service was the standout at this Japanese restaurant: our waiter was charming, attentive, and just had those good vibes that make you feel totally taken care of. The food was good, above average but not quite five stars - the sushi rice felt a little gooey rather than sticky. The decor felt more somewhere to take the kids than a special date night. Overall will definitely go again!
Whisky tasting & cocktails evening + wonderful selections of tasty food.
We went here before an event at Chase Center. There is a pretty large menu and everything we had was very good. Lots of different flavors and all melded together perfectly. We had gyoza, shishito peppers, tempura, hamachi bomb, hand rolls, mushroom tempura, and few more I can't remember. I loved the little bottles that the cocktails are served in too. We sat in a nice open patio area, but you can also sit inside or at the bar. Service was great and friendly.
