While I definitely think the restaurant is a bit overpriced, sometimes a dish is so absolutely mouth watering worthy, it makes you boost the score up another notch. Aveline is an amazing new San Francisco restaurant that is going to blow up soon, so it's best to try and visit while you can still get a reservation. The tasting menu was excellent. They will customize for any intolerance, gluten-free, vegetarian, you name it. Wine pairings were spot on. Service was appropriately attentive and everyone was very personable.

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was great, but the service and cocktails were excellent. Get the crab macarons.
The food was simply amazing. Very creative combinations that really just melt in your mouth.
