Fish tasted fresh, sashimi and rolls were decent portion sizes. Prices are average for sf/sushi. I ordered ahead for pickup and it was ready much sooner than I expected. I would go back to try other items.

Great food, excellent service. We can't help but ordered 3 orders of fresh oysters. Not only the sashimi, their juicy short rib will surprise you too. Nice and cozy dining area. Just the parking around this area sucks, recommend using share ride apps.
Was my favorite sushi place back in the day. Always delicious Hamachi and off menu classic "firecracker" . They always had a bowl of jolly ranchers at the door. Loved them

If you are looking for a fancy, upscale sushi restaurant, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a no frills, neighborhood spot with great service and fresh fish, Wasabi and Ginger is the spot. My boyfriend and I had a craving for sushi, and wanted to avoid the pricey spots in the Marina.
Free valet parking makes this a perfect spot for a casual weekday neighborhood place.

The staff was friendly and efficient and the service was prompt. We enjoyed the seared scallous, the wasabi ginger martini roll, grilled asparagus, tuna nigiri and miso soup. The fish was fresh and everything was beautifully prepared and presented.
My value go-to sashimi! It might not be thee best in town but tasty large cuts of fish at an affordable price for SF, for those who like to easy sashimi on the reg but not go broke.
