El Castillito - San Francisco - Photo album

Best al pasto taco in SF. True Mexican style- meat, cilantro, onion, salsa, nothing else. Order at the kitchen window, then pay at the register. Super efficient process and friendly/helpful staff. The Al Pastor is authentic and they crisp it up to order. Recommend eating it there if you can fo

One of my faves in he area. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the offerings are wonderful, so many choices. Try the house burrito, that's so good food, eh? And the tacos, every one perfect in seasoning and balanced flavors. Enjoy!
El Castillito is incredible! I had the veggie taco, my friend had a chicken taco, and we were both amazed and impressed. We both agreed that this recommendation was great, and the tacos were fresh and delicious. The best!
Another hidden gem in Castro/Church neighborhood 🌈. There are tons of taqueria in the city. However, this one has a very homie feel to it and serves unpretentious homemade Mexican food. You've gotta to try their nachos with beef, it's delicious and the portion is huge! This place seems to be the loc
It's been 7 years since I've eaten a burrito here. It's still good. Possibley the best burrito I've had. It deffinitly something in seasoning. The chips have it too. Come check it out. I feel it stands out from the rest. Excellent price and portion size. Cash only though.
Great, reliable burritos and a great salsa bar. Friendly staff and pretty fast.
Best burritos I've had, full of flavor and taste amazing. Can't wait to come back.
All the ingredients of the super burrito tasted great. I tried the pastor one and looking to go back and try some of the other meats. Cards have a 4% fee so bring cash
Hands down, best burritos in San Francisco. Huge quantity and flavorful food. Quick service, friendly staff
Fresh and authentic, though I wish there was a bit more flavor in the meats overall.
Had the basic fish burrito with pinto beans. Oh my word. It was probably my favorite burrito ever, and I’ve had a fair few. Tender, lightly sautéed fish cubes, rice, beans, pico de gallo and fresh cilantro. The shell was so light and supple. Every bite was full of flavor. I will be back.
Got a super carnitas burrito with black beans and it was absolute fire. Rich and meaty, perfectly grilled, tight wrap, and solid fresh made tortilla chips on the side with some spicy pico and a horchata? No better place.
I got a super burrito with Al Pastor with an horchata and it was so good and fresh. I will be coming back for more and trying everything on the menu.
Oh my god I love the food here! The chicken is especially good, I usually only see grilled chicken but this place has some hella good shredded and in general their food is amazing.
