Murphy's Pub - San Francisco - Photo album

Go support this great pub! All the other bars in the area were closed (even though the days/times on their doors said they were open. They’ve all given up except this great pub!). Had a great chat with the publican….it was 4pm Friday afternoon and he said before COVID, this bar was packed. Office wo
Best bar in FiDi to gather with coworkers. Fast service and great drinks (reasonably priced). The bartender Val treats all of us like family and is the reason we come back (:
I loved this stop on my way home to New Orleans. Your atmosphere and service was incredible. My only feedback is if you only have one pool table, you should have the table open. Two dollars is ridiculous for a play, especially if you’d like to play table rules with the regulars. Make it free and emb
Very cool place!! We enjoyed 2 visits. Definitely busier Mon-Thursday and slower on Friday night. Service was excellent!
Great local watering hole with cheap eats and a decent beer selection. Always busy but not so crowded you can't find a seat. Doesn't seem to attract a lot of tourists, which is good. Patio in the back alley for folks who still like to enjoy some nicotine with their beverages.
We looked for a bar that is not too crowded, has a good choice of beer and serves good food. The prices are good and the staff was really friendly! Five stars!
We had such a great time at Murphy's Pub. And we loved that the bartender, Valerie, was from Dublin. Great beer and Irish whiskey selection. Squint and you'll swear you're in Temple Bar.
Perfect for night drinks! Laid back
Good place to hang out with friends in evenings (after work etc). Pretty decent beer collection and cool atmosphere inside. What's also nice is that they have outdoor seating at the backside with not much foot or mobile traffic. One of the places in the city we end up going quite often.
Very nice atmosphere. I recommend the chicken sandwich with garlic fries. The garlic fries are excellent and are made with fresh chopped garlic.
Fun casual atmosphere. We happened to catch the comedy show and it was so much fun! An hour and 1/2 and about 4 comedians. They were all funny! It was well worth the $10. We didn't have food but it looked great!
Good pub that is close to enough to the BART station to wait out rush hour. A good assortment of local brews and the food is not bad either. I had the fish and chips and really enjoyed the meal
Nice little bar for a pint of Guinness. Irish working behind the bar. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
In a city that hasnt fully recovered from covid, this was one of the only bars for ages that I could find. Of course al of them are Irish.
We had nachos, chilli beef and chicken wings from the bar menu and all were good. Happy hour beer 👍. Good atmosphere.
Cool bar. Great atmosphere. Cold drinks. No food anymore. That’s the only drawback. But if I wasn’t hungry & only wanted a chill bar…..I’d come here
Great drinks and decent bar food. The mozzarella sticks were disappointing, but the chili was great!
The female barkeeper was super attentive and friendly. She advised us about the offered beer and other drinks. A bite overpriced, but concerning the location it's fine. The pub itself is a bit old-fashioned and uncomfortable.
