I love the hustle and bustle at this pier. Great time to spend with your loved ones. Been multiple times at this pier in different seasons. Spring equinox is a great time to be at this place. Plan to spend minimum of 2-3 hours at this place. Street parking is difficult to find, however parking garage for $15 flat fee is affordable and walking distance. Good vibes with great food, shows and music and visually appealing spots. Strongly recommend!

Must visit in SF. Musical stairs (music as you walk up and down the stairs), sea lions (>50) that you can see up close, kid and stroller friendly, carousel, magicians, rides. Great seafood (around 10 seafood restaurants) and other food options (20+ other eateries) including 3 ice cream shops + other dessert shops. You can easily enjoy 2-3 hours here. There are also It was also clean and had a good amount of restrooms. Although entry is free, the big parking lot close by is about $10 per hour, effectively acting as a fee.

Great place to people watch, it's actually entertaining at times. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, gift shop, or shop for your self. Yes, need a new tee shirt, perhaps the sun is too much and you're getting burned now, even though it's a bit chilly. Be aware of the extra fees restaurant's are charging, they don't have to print it on their menu, but if they want to charge they do have to show it and explain why when you ask. So, perhaps those small vendors might be helpful after all. Bring a windbreaker, San Francisco weather is cool. Hop in a bike carriage $15 per person, Ferry Ride to Vallejo from the Ferry Building - mobile app $9.00 counter purchase $11.25 1 hour ride. There are several stores that have closed unfortunately. Plenty of transportation options in S.F. Be considerate of each other in this life, bringing forth good vibes works for all. We all share this earth, be kind where ever you vacation, kindness spreads faster than you realize. HAVE A GREAT TIME!

This is right besides the bay in San Francisco. It has views of the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the Bay bridge. It has lots of restaurants street artists, street food carts, gift shops and a huge array of shops selling various stuff. It is a beautiful place to go for a nice walk in the evening. There are also shops which sell tickets for tours packages and cruises to various places like Alcatraz, hop-in buses to around the city. The best way in my opinion is to walk around and explore. There are carousels which it’s entertaining for kids. There are restaurants which serve really nice seafood if that’s your preference. Is also a nice place for capturing nice photographs of the city and the skyline and it’s up and down roads, which San Francisco is famous for.

Cool spot if you're after some fun and gimmic. Lots of fast food, souvenir shops and arcade style games as well as great views of the pier. Don't miss the sea lions that casually rest on the pier, the best part of this attraction. Bare in mind it can get busy and you will be navigating some crowds but it adds to the overall feel! Worth a visit if you're in San Fran.

Pier 39 was amazing. We went around late Dec and we’re lucky to see the seals out basking in the sun. Pretty much looked around the place and enjoyed the views. Although it was busy it was nice being at pier 39 and watching the seals. Highly recommend if you wanna do something chill around San Francisco. This attraction is also close to the Ferry Building which I recommend too. Also easy access to the boat that takes you in a tour to the old federal prison - Alcatraz, which is also worth your time.

Pier 39 is undoubtedly one of the spot where you will find a lot of hustle and bustle. The best time to visit pier will be around 3 PM - 7PM time frame. If you go too late you won't see sea lions like me. Still the place is great in evening. Definitely try the local delicacy here especially the sea foods.

Heart of the attraction when you visit the fisherman warf, it's a must visit. There were lots of restaurants and unique shops and cafes as well! Things are mostly opened up since the pandemic just with a shop or two still closed, super lively and full of tourists from different places!
