I had an errand to make so decided to take a walk and along the way I bumped into this little gem. I walked in and only 3 other people in the restaurant so immediately thought something was wrong with this place. I asked the Server how it worked and basically it’s counter order and they deliver to your table.
I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, side of fries, and a coke. I have to say this was probably one of the best Chicken Parm sandwiches I’ve ever had. Just the perfect crunch, sauce, and bread. The fries were nice and hot and the coke was in a can, but they brought a glass with ice.
Just goes to show you that sometimes just picking the place a little different and along the way can end up being a gem.
FRIED CHICKEN ON CHALLAH - what could go wrong??? Nothing!! It was very good. Had this as takeaway and enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and sandwich very much. Can’t comment on the restaurant itself because I wasn’t there - the slaw and pickles were tasty and made the sandwich all that much better.
The most amazing chicken salad spicy but sweet fresh and crispy!
Sunday evening was very quiet only a few tables full and no dessert option. Other than a counter cookie.
Quick and friendly breakfast counter service in a clean and bright hipster restaurant. Food was nice but portion sizes differed a bit. Husband was a bit disappointed in his single slice of avocado toast compared to my mountain of yogurt and granola. It was very quiet on a Tuesday morning.
We had excellent sandwiches at Split! I had the Classic chicken sandwich. The breading was perfectly seasoned & crispy. The herb mayo, pickles, & lettuce worked perfect for the sandwich. My wife had the Parm & she loved it! The marinara appeared to be homemade & had excellent flavor with that same crisp chicken. The fries were also nice & crisp with excellent flavor. The daughter ordered the Mac n cheese & she devoured the entire bowl. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a trendy specialty sandwich! It fits the San Francisco vibe perfectly!
Writing this with burger in hand because I can't put it down; it was the best chicken burger I've ever had in my life. I don't normally give 5 star reviews but I had to round up. Fantastic flavours, savory and sweet, crunchy and satisfying. So good that I'm already thinking of when I'm going to come back! The buffalo chicken burger you must try!
The food was very good and the place was empty at dinner time (6pm). Had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, spicy and super tasty! They messed up the order for my children and offered to change it but with a "uh they made the wrong fries...uh we could change it if you want."
Service is very lack luster. THE FOOD was really good but again the guy was completely disinterested.
The lemonade tasted like straight maragrita mix.
Decent Place, nice and clean with comfort food focused menu. Pretty much a self service place, food comes pretty fast most of the times. They also offer some local beer and kombucha on tap and some local wine options as well. Location is great and spot is right at the corner. When its sunny grab a seat outside..
Split has always been consistent with their food it’s all great tasting. I personally enjoy the buffalo chicken sandwich it has the perfect amount of spice, and I always order a side of the sweet potato fries.
Pulled chicken was great. Service was fast and friendly. Not big, but small.

Had a delicious Beetbox salad at around 5pm here on a Saturday, it was totally empty. I added roasted chicken which was so moist and flavorful. The flavors were great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat outside which was very pleasant.
Loved split. Casually walking in for lunch and was not disappointed. The chicken sandwich was delicious. Light and crispy white meat with great flavor.
Homey space featuring sandwiches, burgers, and salads. I had the Cali salad with crispy chicken. It had crispy carrot strips, seasoned croutons, and seeds for extra crunch.
Sunny side up eggs with chargrilled lettuce was a total winner for me. Highly recommend it. I was here very early in the day when it opened so it wasn't busy at all. Maybe later on in the day there's more of an atmosphere.
