Amazing tapas! Great staff!! The tortilla was excellent, perfectly garnished and full of flavor. I also recommend grabbing the ice cream and churros for dessert if you have a small group that is willing to share, they make a great combination. Staff is on top of everything and quick to offer good recommendations. The restaurant itself is funky, cool and fun!

A great tapas bar. Great selection of dishes, all of them well executed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for big groups, I’m pretty sure we almost had the whole damn menu. Make sure to have yourself a wine pour 😉

Surprisingly good quality food all around. Enjoyed the gin and tonic (#2, the "savory" one) too. The bread pudding was probably my favorite ever? It didn't sit in a huge amount of sauce and was in fact crispy around the edges! Wished the meringue was a bit richer (maybe a scoop of earl grey or vanilla ice cream?) and I had more of it but that's more of a personal preference. I could eat the bread pudding by itself in any case.

Everything we tried was delicious. Excellent flavors and whether we had seafood or meat, everything was extremely tender and juicy. Highlights: dangerous, octopus, oxtail, and pork belly. Don't forget to try the sangria - delicious and refreshing!

If you like thin crust pizza then you have to try Beretta. The spicy Italian sausage was very tasty - the sausage had a good texture and scallions added a sweetness. The Buffalo mozzarella margarita has a milder flavor, but the sauce is tasty and comes with big portions of fresh mozzarella on each slice. The service at Beretta is friendly and there are a lot of booths outdoors which are covered and protected from the wind. It’s also dog friendly!

4.432876 Great atmosphere and warm food for a great Spanish experience! Imagine walking around on a brisk day, searching for a delicious meal to warm you up. All of a sudden, you find barvale and walk in; you've found exactly what you're looking for. We went for SF restaurant week, and had their delicious guided menu. We kicked off the meal with the croquetas, which were warm and crunchy with a delicious creamy center. The salad served as a great pallet cleanser before getting to the bulk of dinner. The gambas was absolutely delicious, with very well prepared shrimp, and a fantastic sauce perfect for soaking up with bread. The patatas were perfect, and served with a delicious bravas sauce that provided great flavor. The main dish of the evening was the paella, which had very good flavor and rice that had the perfect crispiness to it. Finishing the meal was a tasty churro, which was maybe one of the best churros I've had at a restaurant. We also added in the sundae which was very smooth and paired very well with the warm chocolate from the churros! Overall a fantastic meal that would find me coming again if I'm in the area, and looking for nice warm small dishes with friends!

The food was great and the atmosphere was spot on what we were looking for. Nice music, lively crowd, bustling service. Was a bit busy so believe as a result service was s little inattentive but did did come fast once we ordered.

Went on a Monday with a larger group and our waitress offered to just bring out their specialties. It was a phenomenal meal! My favorites were the croquetas and the shrimp. The atmosphere was also very lively for a Monday night, potentially because of their Monday half-price wine deal. Will definitely be back!

Really good brunch. We had the hash, patatas bravas, and the steak and eggs. One recommendation I would give is not too order the patatas of you're ordering brunch dishes. They already come with so many potatoes. I know that the bravas come with tomato sauce and if you're into it then you do you. However, I would have appreciated to know that I was getting a potato overload. The hash was really good. The egg seems deep fried! But you can barely find the chorizo in the dish between all the potatoes. The steak and egg was good but over done. They didn't ask us how we wanted it.

Great tapas place! Ambience is perfect too. The grilled pepper is amazing. I don’t quite like the ham it could be better. Grilled octopus is good. Ox tail stew is also tasty.

Great little Italian restaurant in the city! Our favourites of the night were the saffron oxtail risotto and the dungeons crab arancini. Be sure to book in advance!

Divisadero has gained a gem in barvale. Delicious tapas, excellent service and bomb drinks - what more could you ask for? I guess an amazing happy hour ... which they just added! The happy hour is a steal with $6 wines, select tapas and a gin & tonic. While the food is not always consistently perfect, it is consistently good and the service here is always stellar.

Best pan con tomate I have had outside of Spain. Great variety of gin and tonics. The sangria was also very good. Will be back!

Awsome tapas bar we stumbled on by chance! Great drinks (especially loved the selection of gin&tonics) and savoury dishes! Full of life and high spirits on a weekday evening. Friendly staff and fair prices.

Food is great. But the sangria is the best! I’ve had better tapas but not the sangria. It’s really refreshing and not too sweet at all!

First time here! The grilled shrimp with bread was delicious! It's all about dipping the bread in the sauces
