Not as fancy as Sam's next door, but we enjoyed it. 1/4 of my family members preferred the Local Diner. I ordered the french toast deluxe with 2 sausages and 2 bacon. The french toast and sausage were great. The eggs and bacon were Ok. The waffles served with fruit was good. The staff was friendly,
This place Really has the BEST breakfast that I have had in town!!! I LOVE All the omelettes I have tried there so far!! I have tried Popeyes, T-Rex, Philly , Louisiana hot link one!! I don't know which one is my favorite..maybe the Philly one but they were all so super yummy and I cannot wait to tr
We had breakfast on our way to the metro station and I'm so glad we found this place! It's so good, very affordable and portions are huge! Pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. Cashier is very nice, friendly and accommodating. We could see a lot of locals come here and are regulars, treated like fa
Cozy diner with a vast menu. I wish they stayed open later. Definitely worth a trip from any part of SF. My go to was the Waffles. They were light but fluffy and full of flavor. Good pricing for the food you get.
This Local Diner on Market Street close to Van Ness is definitely a hidden gem. They are a family run local business and open early for American style good old fashioned Steak and Eggs which was cooked perfectly and the other dish which I shared with my partner was sausage and bacon with eggs to ord
Absolute best kitchy breakfast joint in the City! Huge portions of comfort food cooked perfectly- bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Staff is top notch - friendly, charismatic, a true hole in the wall gem in civic center.
Had a great breakfast, after we got there it was getting busy. The guy doing so much is worth this place alone. Very nice and funny. I'm thinking he is the owner. He is good. Panfilio is the best, Thank You. Don't get me wrong, not perfect. But who needs perfect. The food was great.
I was pleased to find such a great diner a short distance from my hotel. I had a classic breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. The potatoes with onions and peppers were especially good. The man working the counter was productive and pleasant.
Great little breakfast place with traditional American breakfast plates. I can’t recommend the biscuits and gravy because the biscuits seemed as if they were the frozen type from a food service company but the gravy was good. I would, however recommend their omelets. The staff were very friendly
Had a great time here before going to a show at bill graham. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, food was decently priced for sf, and it was delicious. I recommend the french toast w/ fruit, and my friends were raving about the philly cheesesteak sandwich w/fries. Would come again!
Beautiful people ❤️ n great food n service trust me when ya visit local diner u go feel the love I promise you
Food was amazing! The owner is a nice guy, the workers are really really nice, and the food is made to your liking. Don't let the drab and drama of market street convince you that this spot isn't worth eating at. Despite it's surroundings - Local Diner is a great place to eat.
Good food, at a reasonable price. Ok service. Great atmosphere, I Love to look out to the street. Good place to eat on market street. M.W
I've been eating here since this place was called Munch Haven; and have never had an issue. Good people service and food.
Awesome food Server was great. A memorable breakfast.
Straightforward order and eat. Order at the counter before you sit down and your meal is prepared and brought to you. I ordered the Philly omelet and everything I asked for was quick and made for a good breakfast.
Great food at a reasonable price. In walking distance of the Asian Art Museum, the San Francisco Library and Civic Center.
