Nachos, fully loaded, melted under the broiler. Amazing. Wish the carnitas had more citrus but their salsas add great flavor. Yummy thick, crispy, fresh chips. Only drawbacks are: no salsa bar. Cash only.
We love this place! We go here every chance we get. I'm allergic to raw tomatoes and the people that work there always remember my allergy and make sure to work around it without me even having to say anything. The super nachos are big enough for 2 for about $10 so super reasonable. And so tasty!
Cash only. Super generous proportions for a reasonable price. I haven't had many things off the menu because the vegetable burrito is just so good! Chips are on point too. Overall pretty standard sf Mexican fare.
Formerly called Zona Rosa Taqueria now it has a new name & new owner, thats what the guy who made my super quesadilla told me. Got me the salsa verde chicken, the guy told me it would be spicy, & yes it was! but you can tolerate the spiciness, its not super hot yet its got a kick when you taste it!
Decent little Mexican spot on Haight Street with the standard fare. I had a super burrito with chicken and all the works. The meat was good but the guacamole seemed almost watery. The burrito was also heavy on rice and beans but light on meat. Burritos are also a little pricey for what you get. Over

Awesome authentic Mexican food... one of the better restaurants I've been to. Meat isn't super greasy, fresh ingredients, real tortilla chips. Two thumbs up.
The Haight is not really known for Mexican food, but if I REALLY needed a burrito, this is where I would go. Nothing special, but the price is good and the portions are large. Plus, there is some interesting people watching you can do on this corner.
