The noodle dishes are really good, especially the one with porkchops. The portions for that dish were very generous for just $8.50. The restaurant is also nicely lit and has a great atmosphere.
Ok, it's time to splurge and eat like a queen. Ordered 2 dishes, squab and fried rice with prawns. Next time, skip the salted egg prawns fried rice. Those are the tiniest prawns. Nothing special with the rice. Expected the rice would have some salted eggs taste, very disappointed. The squab wa
Bodega Bistro definitely ranks in my top Vietnamese spots in the city. The beef pho is pretty good - quality meat and flavorful broth. I wish it had been a little hotter when served though. The spring rolls were very fresh and delicious. I also really liked their bo luc lac (shaking beef) - it was t
Finally, really good vietnamese food in SF. Great prices and good portion sizes. Sketchy area, but thats what you expect in Little Saigon SF. I got the pho with pork chops. They give you some serious pork chops, and cooked perfect. The fish was really good too.
I didn't quite know what to expect from Bodega Bistro, as most of my ventures into Vietnamese cuisine consist mainly of pho and a few spring rolls. We were making good on an old promise to have dinner with a friend and she insisted that we would love the harmony of French & Vietnamese classics. She
My go to place for pho in the city. I usually order their beef pho and it is served pretty quick, usually in 5 minutes or less of ordering. The chicken pho is a good alternative. They take credit cards but only visa/mc.
My stomach, my soul and my wallet fufilled. 4 pieces of porkchops and a genorous bowl of noodles at 8.50 will do that to ya. Warning, do not fk with the egg fried rice. A single bite of it will crush the soul of any man such that he may never rise again and forever wallow in despair. Don't get it.
Salt and pepper crab was a highlight. Decent egg roll and calamari. Attentive service. Good value.
Bodega is a good place in downtown. I tried the noodle in the first time. I highly recommend this restaurant for any one .
It is middle restaurant that service Vietnamese food. The price is very good. It used be seafood restaurant.
Don't the the exterior (or interior) fool you. The food is fantastic and the service so friendly. Just a great place to eat.
Great Vietnamese dishes
