Alimento - San Francisco - Photo album

The staff was super pleasant and polite, letting us taste and choose our ice cream. Their ice cream was super delicious and unique. They have a bunch of flavours and sizing opinions. They had a huge variety of unique flavours that I only found in several stores in SF( like green tea, black sesame, e
Best gelato in the city. Don’t sleep on it. Worth the price !
Street parking only. Lots of gelato choices. Good carft beers to choose from.
I ordered the Vegan Sandwich close to closing, and it was pretty busy, which was a great sign. Super nice and bright inside with lots of colorful stuff to look at. My sandwich took longer than 2 seconds to make which is a GOOD thing, the cook took time preparing it and it ended up being amazing. Bas
Nice little late night place to get gelato.
The cutest corner deli spot you ever did see. I've only gone here for gelato, but you can get so much other stuff - sandwiches, wine, you name it! As for the gelato, it's always delicious and pretty affordable. I love how the store is open late, so you can stop by after a trip to Club Fugazi or any
Went to SF to eat with my old pal Dash Riprock at another Italian restaurant on Columbus Avenue that we both like but it was loud with a bunch of drunk guys from Kazakhstan having a bachelor party, so we decided to go to Alimento's ...it's got better food anyway. The sandwiches are maybe the best i
Really cool Italian deli in the heart of North Beach! Paninis and other Italian goodies! I came for the gelato! I chose Baci & Pistachio! The gelato was on point and so creamy delicious, but I was somewhat disappointed with how small it was for $7. I’ve been to Italy and paid a fraction of that but
Starting to really love this place! We stopped here again before going to Presidio picnic. Had a small pistachio gelato ($3.75) scoop which was amazing!!! We also bought 2 sandwiches to go (toscano and romano $11.95 each). Loved the Toscano more. Sandwiches were big so good to share. Bought more
Stopped by randomly for a bite to eat and ordered the veggie sandwich. Quite honestly, it was one of the best damn sandwiches I’ve eaten in my entire life. It was absolutely stacked with fresh flavors and left me thinking about it for hours. 13/10 good.
Fun selection of unique gelato flavors.
I had such a great fun seeing all the yummy flavors of Gelato, I took the fig and Black cherry, truly enjoyed the flavors . They also have a small section of Cannolis and cakes and I believe they make sandwiches too .
Amazing deli with yummy sandwiches. We had a vegie and Milanese sandwiches and both were great! Coffee was good too!
Small little cafe/convenience store locally owned. Staccietella is bussin, and they were patient with my girlfriend's chronic indecisiveness.
Fantastic vegan sandwich. It’s super healthy with things like avocado and mushrooms in there while also having protein from tofu. Can’t ask for any better than that
Ordered the hazelnut gelato and caprese sandwich. The gelato was amazing, reminded me of the ones I had in Italy! The sandwich was probably best eaten as they served it rather than what I did which was to take it to go (still pretty good and delicious though)!
