My favorite egg tarts in the Chinatown that I can easily get. Fresh bolo baos are amazing and their sponge cakes are nice and fluffy. I’m also partial to the flaky pastries, especially the curry beef pastry.
Amazing egg custard tarts! I’ve had a ton and make it a point to try them at places whenever I’m out for dim sum or at a Chinese bakery The ones here are larger than average , fresh, not too sweet and super flaky . 10/10
Such good pineapple buns. We went at about 4pm and they had so many buns! We got fresh pineapple buns and they were amazing - warm with a soft bun and a crispy sugar topping. They take credit cards too which is nice if you are looking for a bakery that isn’t cash only :)
The pineapple custard bun was the pinnacle. Every donut I’ve ever had I have wanted to taste just like this. The dough is perfect. The crunch is just right. The custard is creamy and nothing is too sweet. Buy extra! You’re gonna want ‘em.
AA Bakery's buns are top notch. Today I had their ham & egg bun $1.50 and a pork bun $1.50. The ham & egg bun is made with an actual fried egg. Most bakeries will use a steamed egg slice made with beaten eggs and water. Both buns tasted great with slight hint of sweetness. I got here after 6pm and w
My favorite egg tart in Chinatown. Golden Gate Bakery gets all the hype, but those egg tarts are almost double the prices of the ones here, so hit up this counter instead.
We saw a tour outside eating this egg tart, and decided to try it. Definitely, it was good experience and tasty!
I really enjoyed the different pastries we got like the pineapple bun and a custard filled pastry. It was really good.
Yo this place needs locations all around the world! Chinese cheese cake taste better then cheese cake! Everything was great!
Selling different kinds of traditional HK style bread such as coconut cream bun, pineapple bun each bun is around 1-2 dollars Highly recommend egg tart it is sweeter than the one in hk though
Very buttery egg tart, the best in China town The pork meat floss bun’s sauce is weird don’t recommend it The staff is not very friendly and their attitude differs(don’t wanna used that word)
Lemon Swiss Roll was $1.20. Japanese Cheesecake was $2.25. Both were really good. Rating is for the taste and prices. Their service was something else.
Pineapple custard bun is soooo delicious. I always come back for these when I come to SF. The top is crumbly and I just have no words to describe it.
One of the best egg tarts I have ever tried. The custard was really well made
Bought a box of pastries (including two egg tarts) for 7 people for $11.80. They were just out from oven and still warm! Very friendly staff.
