Having gone here my whole childhood, returning after 12 years away from SF; this Chinatown institution has not changed. The menu, the taste and the home cooked meals are timeless. Having been open since 1908 and only on its third owner, Lun Ting a must do. Pot stickers are still hand made. Rice is c
Really good food from this small restaurant in Chinatown SF. We had beef fried rice and Kung Pao chicken. Both dishes were delicious. We were given some soup and a complimentary pot sticker prior to our meal. Place is very small and doesn't have a great ambiance, but food and service were on point
Family run business. Food is simple and very good. I had the roast pork and rice plate. Soup, dumpling appetizer, and tea accompany the food.
I started with dumpling. It was the best dumpling I ever had! The right amount of ginger to match the perfect savory of the pork and scallion filling.
This restaurant is definitely my type of place. Family run, homey low-key atmosphere, good food and service. It's definitely not a fancy place, and the prices aren't fancy either. I had beef chow fun, and it arrived quickly, hot, and was very tasty. The restaurant itself has been there over 100 year
Cool and affordable hole in the wall. I got the roast pork with gravy in a rice plate. The meal also came with tea, soup, and 1 pot sticker.
The sides were fine. Tea and soup was mid, but the pot sticker was nice.
The main course though was pretty delicious. The pork was perfectly tender, gravy wa
February 2022:
Came here for dinner on a Thursday. The place is very traditional "old school" type Chinese cafe with Cantonese style dishes and American style favorites of Chinese family meals.
Service was great. The lady serving us was so genuinely nice and funny. They treated us to free ice cream
I think we had the booth right after Synne, and echo what he said. Order what she recommends, especially the beef stew. Phenomenal!
Updated review 3/1/2022: A lot of the Chinatown restaurants close early nowadays. At 6:30pm, these restaurants were closed: New Hollywood Bakery, New Regent and Yin Du (Yelp hours are wrong) on Pacific Ave., San Sun (Yelp hours are wrong) on Washington St. and VIP Cafe (Yelp hours are wrong) on Broa
Roast Pork is the way to go 😋. Big portions and well prepared Pork, top orange color sauce over rice. It also comes with soup and one dumpling 🥟. For $12.45 + tip, it's a great value for lunch 🙂.
The food was delicious. My favorite was the dumplings so good! The service was also very good. The server made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely recommend to anyone coming through Chinatown! Very good value as well the price was very reasonable!
Fantastic food. Had 2 kinds of soups and both broths were fantastic. The porkchop is flavourful and tender. Tea with your meal and they make wonderful dumplings as well. Very good price and quality.
This is a a 50-year old SF Chinatown restaurant serving wonderful Cantonese food. It is know.l also as the Pork Chop house.
Its most famous dish is the Roast Pork Rice plate. They have perfected it! Don’t be fooled by its unassuming decor (one can easily miss the place). The people there are friend
Best roast pork lunch, and it’s yummy yummy. The portion is so huge that I had to pack half of the pork to go, and price very reasonable. I had the combo roast pork lunch special, $15 including soup, pot sticker, soda, and tea. It’s a small place with counter seats and booths with that 70’s vibe.
Visiting in town and decided to stop here for dinner and found out it was a GREAT choice. Service was quick and food was on our table in under 10 minutes. Definitely will be returning.
When we stumbled onto this restaurant we were hungry for lunch and the restaurant seemed like the most inviting one. We sit down and immediately realize this was going to be incredibly authentic (I think we might have been the only tourists) and the menu was extensive we all found something that app
Not even joking when I say this place has provided the cheapest decent meal I've eaten since landing in America. They had a 3-dish and a soup meal set for 23 dollars. But we ordered more. Very original Chinese cuisine. Ordered some pork and cabbage dumpling/Woh tip, Mongolian fried fish, beef briske
