Dancing Yak Restaurant & Bar - San Francisco - Photo album

This was such an amazing meal. My two friends and I came in for dinner last night and were promptly seated, water came quickly, and we selected our food and a minute later the waiter came. His name (I think) was Chuc. He was excellent, he brought over everything in a timely manner. We got three ent
Highly recommend this place for Nepali food when in SF. Everything is so fresh and flavourful, quality ingredients, no colouring or excess oil. The naan was perfect. Must try the momos, Dal and Paneer.
Great food! Loved the momos and the dhading chicken. The food felt fresh and not too oily.
Love this restaurant because the food is always so tasty, and the ambiance is perfect for gathering. One of my favorites in SF :)
First time trying Nepalese food! I really enjoyed their food - Vegan momos, paneer sekuwa, and avalanche in Everest cocktail. My friends tried shrimp and salmon sekuwa. Restaurant’s Ambiance is chill with good music, and friendly staff. A Good place to go on a date or for dinner with friends and fam
This whole restaurant is a yes—delicious cocktails (the Avalanche in Everest and Spicy Yeti are stand outs), flavorful and filling dishes (LOVED the kale chaat and the cheesy naan), and fun, busy atmosphere. Need to come back!
Came here with a group of 6 and found a reservation with Yelp! Good: - Love how many alternative food options there are from non dairy to gluten free - Saag paneer and buckwheat roti were my favorites, loved the texture of the roti - The chili cauliflower appetizer was so tasty and crunchy - Loved
1st time here, and definitely won't be the last! Great place to eat with friends or family. The decor is modern, with a very chill & laid back vibe. The staff is prompt, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Let's get to the food. Shared 4 curry dishes, 2 Naan, pork momos, chicken momos and 2 rice amo
My first encounter with Nepalese food and it was delicious! We started off with the spicy cauliflower, which certainly live up to their name, but are full of flavors other than just heat. The raksi was a drink very reminiscent of a slightly sweet sake, it went down very smoothly. The vegan momos als
The cocktails are great and the service was wonderful. The food is incredible, I highly the Momo's and ask for the chili sauce! It can get busy, but the bar area is first come first serve.
Loved this place so much! We thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Momos, Samosas, Tandoori Wings, and Daal. Staff was very friendly!
Highly recommend chicken tikka masala and butter naan! Friendly staff and delicious food
I really like the vibe in this restaurant. The cocktails are really good. I enjoyed their rendition of the old fashion. My friends enjoyed their take on the piña colada. The sauces had a good spice to them including the chutney. I liked that I could get a mix of the momos. The curries are great and
Food is good but didn’t really wow me The portions have shrunken a lot compared with photos ppl posted from the past.. maybe it’s a covid effect due to rising food costs..?? But in any case 4 Momo’s in a serving just looks …. Sad Taste wise is good Biggest miss was their matcha cucumber cocktail
Decent service. I got the paneer sekuwa and vegan momos. The sekuwa was really good with the sauce that it comes with. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The momos were good too. I got the old fashioned Nepal. It didn’t taste that different from regular old fashioned. Maybe a bit
I am a frequent orderer of Indian curry, not to be confused with Nepalese food, but as they are from a similar area I was not surprised to see butter chicken on the menu. I can't do spicy curry, so I usually order butter chicken because it's more creamy than spicy. The butter chicken here was so fla
