This place is awesome. They use quality ingredients to make some of the most delicious things you have ever tasted. The atmosphere is very upbeat and welcoming with a focus on customer service. They actually hire people with developmental disabilities and those who are homeless or at risk and teach
Omg a Mexican Chocolate cookie?! 👀 So moist and delicious. Also their jalapeño biscuit sandwich was soft and very tasty. They use cornmeal, and it’s not spicy. Had it warmed up, and the egg was still soft and warm on the inside. Really affordable for most SF places, and they don’t upcharge you for
Great cookies and pastries. Always nice when I can support a non profit social enterprise providing job training and employment for folks with disabilities. Plus Jamilla is a big fan
I've used their service twice to ask for custom-made cakes/pastries. They are super adaptable, and so far, the rosa de Reyes and pan de Muertos were fabulous! I highly recommend them for custom-made realizations for sure!
Egg, cheese, ham Jalapeño biscuit is terrific. We have walked by this place since it opened and never went in because our timeshare (Inn at The Opera) stopped doing breakfast since COVID.Today was a wonderful find. The rest of our party raved about their choices too. We’ll be back.
Underrated cafe on Gough. Great bakery items (I reccomend the cinnamon buns), fast service, rarely a line. Icing on the bun is that they provide employment and training for people with disabilities, who are homeless or at risk.
So far, everything I've purchased here has been amazing.
Great food. Love their baked goods, chicken curry sandwich and pot pies. And the background music is great too :)
Great little neighborhood bakery. Good cookies, pastries, and sandwiches.
This place is divine. Selection, flavors, priced right. The baked goods are exactly as the tags say. They taste exactly like you image - perfect. I got quite the selection this morning, just had the Mexican hot chocolate snickerdoodle cookie. Oh my, I wish I had gotten a few more. It’s perfectly cho
A nice neighborhood bakery, I stopped in one weekday morning for some pastries and they were quite good. They didn’t have a large bread selection, but they do serve lunch.
An excellent nonprofit worth supporting (it is staffed by disabled and at-risk employees) that coincidentally has really great baked goods. There are a couple of vegan and gluten-free options — usually cookies — and their pizza always has a creative vegetarian option. I don’t know that I’d trust an
Not only is this an excellent place to get freshly baked bread and delicious sandwiches but they are a social enterprise supporting people with disabilities to get work. That's a win win for me!
Vast selection of pastries. Good coffee. Skip the sandwiches. 16$ per head
Lots of great choices for sweets. I tried the blueberry muffin and some of the cookies - the Mexican chocolate snickerdoodle was my favorite. I’ll definitely be back here to try some more flavors at some point soon! Well-designed and functional seating area too.
Unpretentious bake shop in Hayes Valley that offers a large variety of baked goods (bread, pastry, muffins, scones, empanadas, etc) at reasonable prices, and operate as a non-profit social enterprise. I tried their banana bread, which is delicious with good texture; and a mushroom empadana that was
