I could not believe how good the Sushi was here, and the service was out of this world. We are from the East coast, and this is our first time to SF. The way we were treated here made us feel so welcomed. We will eat here again, again and again.
The Dragon roll was out of this world.
FOOD
The fish was very soft and fresh. All of it was super tasty and the chef took a lot of effort into plating it nicely.
SERVICE
Service could have been better, but it wasn't bad. My table had a comfortable amount of time to chat. Just get the waiter's attention and you're good to go.
AMBIANCE
When we went, there were only a couple of people in the restaurant, so it was nice and quiet. It's a bit small, but nice and bright.
Small joint with great staff and great food. Quality sashimi and sushi rolls, excellent and speedy service, and a great place for a chill meal. Happy hour deals are wonderful too!
Andrea served me for my birthday yesterday and she was *wonderful*! I got the tasty chirashi don and her presentation was beautiful. Flowers and sprigs were added into my to go that truly made my night so special❤️ Thank you so much!
Amazing hidden gem of Nob Hill! A small place run by the friendliest couple with great decor and incredible service. Really feels like a classic neighborhood spot. All the sushi I've had here is delicious and at a great price point. It has already become my go to spot for nights I'm craving sushi. Highly recommend!
It is a small place with only 3 to 4 workers. As long as you are not in a rush then it is a great place to eat. Everything was prepared fantastically and had great flavor. If you want more to drink or need something else you will need to flag down the waiter, but that isn't a big deal in such a small place.
Amazing sushi in a great spot. The wonderful people running this gem are doing it right. Yum.
Great neighborhood spot for eating in or taking out. Lots of regulars and good happy hour deals. Giants roll and cherry blossom roll are my favorites.
Best sushi I have ever tried in US tbh. Very good service and friendly. Rainbow Kirin is the best one. Recommended
I recommend the melt in your mouth roll and happy hour deals.
One of the best sushi quality I’ve had in SF. Small restaurant in a non crowded area. Definitely will go back and recommend to others.
Love this place! Saw it on check please. My sister moved to the city so I said let's try it . It's all of like 6 tables.OMG! We said just let the chef do his thing. He did! Every single bite was heaven! We each had our fabulous favorites but both agreed all were a piece of art and some of the highest quality of fish we'd ever had.lots of delicate herbs and edible flowers a little saffron on one of them. Fantastic just fantastic! $100 for lunch for two, but we didn't care, we felt it was worth it. I think they are a couple and she waited on us. She was just as good! She was fun and talked me into uni again. I had given it up for life.
Quaint corner sushi spot! Empty when we walked in which made us nervous, but the food was delicious and service was quick. Couldn't find anything to complain about, had some really good teriyaki chicken and amazing sushi rolls.
So glad I found this place elephant sushi is always so crowded. Mackerel = amazing big fat chunks of scrumptious fish. Rolls I had were great except yellowtail hand roll was sparse. Miso soup good, even better when they brought me a spoon 😕. This place is great I'll be back!
Great little sushi spot. Never had a bad roll. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have only been there weekdays and early on a Friday so my wife and I have never had to wait for seats.
Everything is great. Cherry blossom roll, NYC, hamachi nigiri, hamachi Kama, albacore nigiri is butter, the creamy roll🤤 I’ve ever had something and thought “hm that’s not very good” it is truly all great food and wonderful service.
I’m always too excited to eat here to get photos, next time I’ll try harder!
Getting sushi with a friend on a Friday night in SF can be a mission but this little gem right up the street made the whole process a breeze. My friend and I shared a small cold sake, large Sapporo, Tiger Roll (delicious avocado & shrimp) and Spicy Tuna. The service was quick and the bill was about 40 with tip. Great quick place to grab a bite before going out.
Convienent location near my house and quality fish, can't go wrong here. Great place to watch the game and have amazing sushi! Love you guys and nave, thank you so much for all the wonderful meals here.
