Vip Coffee And Cake Shop - San Francisco - Photo album

They are way under staffed, too many uncles and aunties are sitting eating inside. So service is really slooooow. If you are in a hurry this place isn’t for you. The food is basic low end Hong Kong old school style. It’s simple basic foods, not fancy or trendy. Like the thousands years old egg and
VIP Coffee Shop has been on my list of restaurants to revisit for a long time. They close at 6pm and I can't make it to Chinatown until after 6pm on weekdays. I had a day off today and it took over 25 minutes for them to make my baked pork chops spaghetti $14 at 11am. There's this single waitress th
Great milk tea :) reminds me of HK The baked pork over rice was flavorful but the pork was a bit dry. Only there pieces of pork. Egg tart was good. I think if they were freshly made, it would've been better. They did heat it up for us though. That was nice.
Great place for authentic Hong Kong style breakfast. When I showed up, there were only a few patrons but after I was seated several large families came in and sat down. This place is clearly not ready for large crowds. The waitresses are scrambling and these large tables have to share one menu. On
This has been a vital Chinatown neighborhood coffee shop and Chinese-American diner serving the local community for well over 40 years. A true old school diner, the service is rude but fast with cheap prices and the food, while not even close to gourmet, definitely delicious to the loyal customers t
This is a great place for HK Style 'western' food. It is not pretentious, you get what you order and the food is almost always delicious. I've eaten here for about 20 years now and we always go back on the weekends. The prices are definitely reasonable. A good alternative to dim sum. Long lines some
Ok. Its not fancy. Steak for $15 with the best Hong Kong tea. The peppery gravy is the best. Baked tongue spaghetti (too rich spaghetti sauce) $16 (price increase, not on menu). Please skip this. Not worth it unless you want 3 cups of spaghetti. Only 3 big slabs of tongue. Come during week fo
Good comfort food. Got an egg, ham, French fries, coffee, and bun, combo, for a good price! It was enough for breakfast and lunch! Very filling! They also carry a great selection of Chinese pastries. We visit when come to Chinatown! Nothing fancy but good food!
Come here for the egg tarts, if/when GGB is closed. These are the second best, if not the best IMO, based on wait time, price point, availability, andddd taste, of course. 6 egg tarts were $5.20. Pretty good deal in comparison!
Been coming here for over 30 years and I still love this place and it will never be replaced. Glad its still open. I would definitely recommend the mixed groll plate with spaghetti and the curry brisket over rice.
