Anar Restaurant - San Francisco - Photo album

I love a good persian food and when I go to a persian restaurant I like to feel like I'm in a restaurant back home. The anar restaurant atmosphere is very chill and nice. We came right after the opened for dinner so it wasn't really busy. I ordered the good old soltani kabob which is a combo of barg
Good Persian food. Very polite staff. Liked the kababs. Shole zard wasn't quite what I expected, it was syrupy. Will try the ice cream next time.
First time trying authentic Persian food. This restaurant did not disappoint. Wish the service was better.
Stumbled on this spot after a night at the Bay Bridge Inn. Best kebab I’ve ever had. Friendly staff. Packed for lunch. Check out this family restaurant, now in its fifth year (2108). Surviving and thriving on Harrison.
Good food, decent price, high quality ingredient and Mom's quality stew! And 5 star service! Coming from a persian!

They really care about their customers. on Friday night they were packed and only window table of two were available. the lady great us and offered us that table and said she would change our seats as soo
This a rather decent Persian restaurant. It's not a very traditional place. The food is pretty healthy and not overly fatty. The staff are very friendly and fluent in English and Farsi. The ambiance is very nice as well. Overall you and your friends will have a enjoyable time.
Rare neighborhood Persian find with friendly service and delicious food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the roasted eggplant appetizer, Kashke Bademjan - really delicious and satisfying. The hummus was good, but not amazing - definitely ask for the house hot sauce, which is delicious. I
The service is great and very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! I'm a big fan of the lamb and eggplant dish that is so tender and flavorful. It's a neighborhood bright spot and I'll be a regular.
My friends and I went here a couple of times and each time the food was very delicious. Their Ash-e-anar (the pomegranate soup) is very different from any soup we ever had. When ordering kababs, do not forget to ask for their saffron rice.
Identical Persian cuisine with handful of delicious food, desert and drinks. I always order "Kebab with rice" when I go to every Persian restaurant and if it's good meaning that they have a very good chef who knows how to cook marvelous Iranian foods. friendly waitresses and great customer service.
The best Persian food in SF area. More importantly, amazing people running this restaurant. A united family of kind, hospitable and caring people. I would do anything to support this family and their business. I eat at Anar almost every day, every single time I visit SF.
Stopped by for lunch around late afternoon and was greeted by a very pleasant Lady. We were a party of three and very hungry. Ordered Dulmeh and Hummus as appetizers which were by far better than any I have had in other Persian restaurants . The Dulmeh is absolutely delicious and very original and a
Slow moving but worth the wait. We had the Fesenjan, which is easy to mess up by making too tart or pasty; it was perfectly made with moist chicken and a well blended walnut pomegranate sauce. The rice was light and fluffy. The kubedih was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I thought about g
All of our order were up to the expectations! I'm pretty sure the place is personally run by the owners, so expect a VIP service. A must go for all who loves to adventure on super special Persian dishes!
