India Clay Oven - San Francisco - Photo album

I had the pleasure of dining at Clay oven on Clement Street earlier this week with a good friend of mine. We weren’t sure what we were in the mood for, but it looked cozy and inviting so we went inside. Right away, we were greeted warmly, and made to feel very comfortable. We ended up ordering the c
The best spot for Indian food in the city. Authentic Indian flavours, great ambience, and amazing hospitality. 10/10 would visit again.
Food was really good. We got the clay oven thali for two. It was a good feast, we couldn't finish it all. The manager/worker took very good care of us. He was really kind and cared about taking care of us. I would come back just because of his generosity. I would recommend this place for sure.

A great place in an unassuming location. I had samosa, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and draft Kingfisher beer - everything was very good! They brought gulab jamun at the end of the meal - fresh, warm and savory. They packed the leftovers themselves and put them into a bag. The music was a bit loud, an
We happened upon this restaurant by chance and it was great. The deep fried eggplant pakoras were incredible. The spices were very abundant so I would suggest mild if you aren't used to eating spicy. The ice cream was a most interesting and rich coconut filled delight. The service was the best I've

The samosas are fabulous. Malai kofta is super tasty. Fast service. We sat outside with our dogs and niece in her stroller.

AMAZING. One of my favorite restaurants in the entire city. It’s always delicious. The service is top tier, attentive and kind. Never have to wait for a table, great for groups. Happy hour on beer. Affordable prices. Nice fancy tables with roses, glasses and cloth napkins. Beautiful dinning room wit
We got the Lamb Korma and the Saag Paneer! Both were really flavorful. Lots of lamb in the Korma! When we finished they gave us some Gulab Jamun which is kinda like a donut hole soaked in syrup. Very tasty!
Best Indian food in the city! The restaurant has beautiful vaulted glass windows and the service was amazing. The food was a standout, made fresh and extremely tasty. Highly highly recommend!
the food is amazing, the staff can recommend some really good choices, authentic indian cuisine... the ambience is nice... the people are amazing.... will need to go back there... oh make sure you make the right choices for how spicy you want your food.
Stumbled upon this restaurant after a hike at Land’s End. It was fantastic! Great service, expansive menu, nice ambiance and incredibly reasonable prices (cheaper than most fast casual!). And the food was excellent, perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. If I lived in SF I would go every week!
The owner and server Mr. GURVINDER SINGH are amazingly customer friendly professionals. The food is very tasty too but their service and behaviour trumps everything. We are out of towner Indians first time eating here and its REAL authentic indian food! We took take away to savor next day too Thank

Food was really good. We ordered vegetarian appetizers, naan, hyderabadi Kurma and matar panner. Nice quality food and they even have some complimentary sweets. The only drawback was, the service time was a lot more than anticipated. But apart from that, everything was good including the ambience.
