Great spot and great value for the 5 course menu! It's hard to find a spot that offers a $39 five course meal AND 2 for 1 cocktail menu on Wednesday and Thursdays.
I have to agree with a previous reviewer. The service was so mediocre that it took away a great deal from the experience. After the meal, my friends informed me that the server was the chef/owner's wife who mainly works at the SF MOMA's In Situ which is kind of full of attitude and indifference. The
Francisca’s is SO GOOD. Whether you are going for brunch or dinner, the menu is always fresh and flavorful. The four course dinner is incredible and they are so accommodating to dietary needs. They’ve made the entire four courses gluten free & vegan for me many times. You can also add a wine pairing
Inspired cuisine at the intersection of Italy and Venezuela. Order the chef's selection and get to know owner/proprietor Mani and his wife Katerina. We especially liked the Cesar Chavez salad and the lasagna made with plantain four. Great decor. A hip spot for a weeknight feast.
Food quality and taste excellent, love the chef. But the quantity seemed.to.gave been resteicted.l by the food cost accountants. Ambience exciting and colorful, but with no rugs can be hard to hear noise wise
Did the tasting menu and it was wonderful. Four courses, each was unique. Had a bottle of wine and was out for less than 180., Which as we have learned in this town is something to celebrate. The chef came out twice to explain the meal which I thought was a nice touch.
Love Chef Manny... From the days of Mr Pollo, Roxy Cafe, The Palace, and now Francisca's.
I've been to Francisca's a few times in 2017. It was a great meal every time. Their wine maker dinners are special. Great food and wine at a good price point.
We actually celebrated the new year with them. A
Fantastic food. So many choices. And if you are looking to be spontaneous, cult members choice is a must. The variety is amazing, combinations of food come from all over the world. It is truly a unique place to be. Definitely worth the price.
I have been following Manny for years and he continues to do an amazing job with each of his restaurant ventures. Went in for brunch today and had the best avocado toast ever. This place truly deserves all the five star ratings it gets. Manny always delivers.
Nice little mission neighborhood restaurant. If you get there early it's nice and quiet, gets crowded after 7. Known for "taco Tuesday " they their yummy 'watermelon margarita and the yucca.
