Food was just a step below authentic, but considering their price it was worth it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The ambience was right for a decent meal.

I have been here twice now with my daughters and we enjoyed it both times. Both times we got the specials for lunch. Service is good and the food is very good. One of my daughters always wants Japanese soup and the other one sushi, in this place everybody’s happy!

We are always greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello! Fuji has the best sushi and Wakame salad I've ever had! I recommend the Liger roll if you are a little timid/newer to sushi but looking to branch out. Their fish is always fresh and delicious. Riesling was crisp and tasty. Definitely one of my new favorites 😋

Me and my SO went here for our anniversary just a few days ago. First thing we both noticed that it was a bit hard to spot the restaurant, but I want to chalk it up to the heat since it was too warm outside for our liking. Either way, Google Maps told us it was right around the corner and we just stumbled onto the place. What struck me was how homey it felt in a way. I'm not sure, but I want to say it's a Mom and Pop sushi restaurant and it's great. Prices are firm for what they offer and let me tell you, if you're not sure, get the Sashimi Sampler. We ended up getting a few other things but that sampler was enough to tell us what we're about to experience. Throughout SF, theres dozens upon dozens of sushi restaurant so it's difficult to stand out to others say, Amami-San where there Omakase stands out the rest for their number of pieces and price. Fuji, by all means is worth it. We ended up paying 80$ or so for our bill, but that was because we got Fatty Tuna and Blue Fin Tuna. Fatty Tuna is seasonal upon reading in their menu and I'm glad they had it. Worth the 18$ we paid bit it was melt in your mouth good. We took our time and both plates that you see in the picture sat in our stomachs before our rolls even came out. I regret to say that I didn't take a picture of our rolls because we were too excited but I can say we ordered the Double Albacore and the Hole in One I think, it's the one with Jalapenos, and it really has a kick to it. The wait for our rolls did take longer than usual though, but admittedly we went there around 6, which is dinner time for most people and it was a packed place, so I'll give them that one. They had two waiters working at the time we were there, but they worked their butts off. If you guys are reading this, you guys did a good job regardless of your online orders giving you guys a hard time with the other customers. Thanks guys for the fantastic experience and we're most likely going to come back again.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Very friendly service. Very fresh fish. Good prices. Went back for the spicy seafood ramen. It was definitely spicy, but I was disappointed by the amount of seafood in the dish.

Excellent Japanese food. The bento boxes are great. It's usually crowded so book a table ahead of time.

I have lived in the West Portal neighborhood for many years, and it’s only in the last couple of years that I have visited Fuji Restaurant for the first time, and I am now a regular on a bi-weekly schedule. I don’t want to bore you so I’ll be brief in my review. The place: Clean, Bright place, casual with a sushi bar. The people: Friendly and cheerful, good service. The food: Excellent tempura, flaky, crispy, not oily. Great sushi and other Japanese Specialties, reasonably priced. All in all very good.

This is an excellent place for sushi and Japanese food. All of the servers are super hotties. The Sushi and Japanese Cuisine items are fresh and full of flavor. An excellent menu features traditional and creative gourmet food. To top it off, the prices are reasonable, especially for San Francisco. The atmosphere is inviting and warm.

The food was fine, but nothing really excited me. The roll we had was okay, but the ton katsu was a little on the dry side. The service was quick, friendly, and they were very good about refilling waters and teas. That's always a +1 for me. The place is moderately sized with perhaps a dozen seats available around the sushi bar. I came here with a group of 6 and we were able to get seated immediately. The restaurant is a clean neighborhood restaurant. Parking in the West Portal area is metered so keep that in mind when heading out here.

Tonkatsu (sorry if I mispelled) was great. Service was great. Sushi rolls range from $7-$17, and bigger meals are more $17-$24 range but it's worth it. Service/waiters were very nice and "willing". A lot of seating and great for friends and family.

Good service. The dinosaur foot is very interesting. The deep fried mint leaf, serving as a base, along with the cold topping on top is a great contrast. Got to eat that as soon as it hits the table though.

Great food. Service is good, even though One of our servers spent multiple sessions sitting with three patrons, guys in their 20s, who were doing shots and laughing at our table of middle-aged couples. Not a reason to stay away, for sure.
