Terroir - San Francisco - Photo album

The decor isn't going to wow you, but I'd have to say, the wine list was the most interesting I've seen in SF so far. Natural ferment, boutique producers from good wine growing regions. Sadly no Champagne on pour which seemed strange considering it is a French wine bar. I was told the wastage is an
The bar is cool. We were there with a bunch of people for a birthday party. But on a Saturday night, they only had one person working there so it was a bit crazy. They ran out of glasses. Overall it was fun but not very organized. It felt like a house party where you pay all your drinks. And there a
Great hidden gem! The barman was really knowledgeable about the wine...played some good music too! Great spot for a third date!
My absolute favorite wine bar! Wine selection is amazing, full of high quality French wine. And owner changes wine list every week. Spacious and cozy place, nice music and great atmosphere. This is a perfect place for those who loves great wine and is looking for European style bar.
Lovely bar with a great atmosphere. My boyfriend and I stopped in to try the place out and bought a bottle of wine to share. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. I'd sit in there drinking wine all day if I could! I'll definitely be back on my next trip to the city.
Great wine, excellent boards, mellow atmosphere with a urban feel - pretty awesome. I love wine and this is absolutely THE SPOT in SOMA to get a bottle of delicious white or flavorful red and relax for a bit with some friends or someone special. If you don't drink wine, this is the place to take you
A nice place to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine. Even though it's street level, you feel you're walking into a deep and cavernous wine cellar. Wines are stacked against the tall walls, and a little loft space makes it easy for dates to discreetly enjoy some time together. It was easy to get a seat a
Super helpful when I came in with specific questions about the Rhone. Not to mention a wonderful selection of small producer wines. They even sell retail for these hard-to-find wines. Great atmosphere, lots of space to spread out with friends. Great cheese pairings too!
Great natural wines, very savvy host who can help to pick the right wine if you don’t don’t much about the wines listed. Very calm at the beginning of the week and perfect spot for a date. There are couple of table on the mezzanine that are very cozy
At first I was reluctant to go to a place that only carries wines that are fermented with naturally occurring yeasts. I thought it might be too snobby. This place was very welcoming when I went the other night. The music was louder than what you get from a typical wine bar, but it was really fun. Th
An unusual wine bar featuring natural wines you won't find anywhere else. A great, low-key vibe; not pretentious. They have a turntable and a large collection of vinyl that customers are welcome to play. They offer snack plates to accompany the wine as well!
This place is a favorite of mine in the area. Go during the early evening and you will have the terrific place to yourself for a nice book or conversation, later on in the evening when the lights turn on it's a bit more lively and real estate can be limited. Pros go upstairs to the loft for a cozy
Go early before it gets crowded and if you like to talk about natural wine these guys know their stuff. They give you a few sips of whats open to try to figure out your next glass. Great selection of cheese a sliced meats. A wine lovers mecca.
