Great happy hours until 8pm weekdays for both food and drinks! Love that they have coconut and pumpkin curries contained in their own coconut and pumpkin shell, and pineapple fried rice in its own pineapple shell!
First time trying this place, got the lunch special brown rice, white rice, or fried rice(which i assume you pay extra for, anyway) all for $9 bucks w/ tax included, not bad u say, well the taste of the food was pretty good, guessing its the msg they add to the food, nowadays every restaurant uses this to attract their customers. I ordered Coconut Curry w/ Tofu, Brown Rice & Chicken, i esp. liked the Coconut Curry w/ tofu spicy but not too spicy & you could taste the coconut, not like other thai restaurants i’ve been to. The Thai girl that was serving was pretty nice. Oh, they only take cash thats the downside thats why i gave this place a 4 star & because if your driving, have fun finding parking in this neighborhood, if i were u i would take public transportation or walk. if your ordering the lunch special, i asked if you could take it to go, & the thai girl said yes. I’ll probably come back here another time, just won’t come back asap, i think the kitchen could use less grease, it was too greasy for me, not good to be eating this all the time, once in a while is find. So if your looking for some Thai food thats affordable, this is the place to go to!
Delicious and filling Thai food, lots of vegetarian options as well :)! Loved the lemongrass soup noodles as well as the pumpkin curry- both super flavourful and filling
So far the best happy hour menu! Try fried calamari and chicken satay.
I like it. It's not exceptional Thai but it's solid takeout on the basics of Tom Yum / Kha, noodle dishes, all basic chicken (ginger, basil, etc) and it's affordable, with a good happy hour. Some dishes are on the sweeter side but can be balanced with rice. And the service is consistently great. Good takeout or casual dining option. And they don't play when you ask for something spicy! 🌶
The pad Thai was okay, and the price was average for the bay area, but they get four stars because the atmosphere was nice, the portions were very large, and they successfully served our party of 32 (though they were warned we were coming). Overall, recommend for a good Thai experience on a moderate budget. The soup and fried rice I think were better than the pad Thai.
Came here for dinner in a party of 4. Service was great. We ordered a few things, including the fried tofu (yum!), spring rolls, chicken skewers with peanut sauce, grilled chicken thighs, tofu fried rice, chicken yellow curry, tofu pumpkin curry. For dessert, we ordered the fried banana and the sticky rice with mango.
Everything was delicious. I was really impressed with the curries (I usually order green but loved the yellow curry).
