Ladle & Leaf is another chain restaurant that is targeted at the downtown lunch crowd. I think it has about 10 locations in FiDi so you will run into a location every couple of blocks. As its name suggests its main offering are soups and salads, but it also has sandwiches.

They refuse to mix two soups even when same price. More expensive than SF soup I think. They don’t give bread unless you ask. the piece of bread is almost one bite size and they would charge if you want another piece
3.5 stars, really. Salads are ok, and usually fresh, but not very creative. It’s a good place to get food maybe once every 10 days, but not more often - I guess I’d repeat
