Great food and hookah. The owner was nice too, and I'm Israeli. So not sure what other reviews are about, but my experience was excellent and since I have projects in the area I'll be coming back more in the future.

I generally don't leave bad reviews, but this was a very unpleasant experience. The food was meh, nothing special despite the owner talking to two other patrons about how he has been in business for 29 years and makes the best. I wanted to stand up and interrupt his conversation and let him know that his Mediterranean food was far from superior and I've had much better lamb kebabs from street vendors. In his conversation with the other patrons: He went on to say that Americans don't like lamb meat and don't know how to raise sheep. Incorrect assumption. The hunnus was okay. Way way way way overpriced for the taste and the service. I couldn't believe my check was so high. The service was terrible...I sat there for ten minutes listening to him pride himself before I could get my check. Awful experience, but willing to go again if they just tried better.

Misogynistic owner / waiter who accused me of being the reason Jews are in Palestine because I am English.
Charger 20% extra, then when questioned explained it was for an outside smoking tax which I asked him to explain / show me the license and he couldn’t.
He told me he charged less for Indian people to have shisha - I explained you can’t discriminate like this and he became agitated and aggressive towards me saying England is the reason Jews were given his country.
Although the tea was good I would not recommend this experience especially for woman alone .

Have visited here many times.
Positives
- Good tasting hookah flavor ‘Love’
- Decent tasting food (specials on the menu)
Negatives
- Owner overcharges you 30% consistently
- Be prepared to shell out $40 for a hookah
- Rude owner
Not sure it’s worth visiting the 2nd time unless you have no other hookah option

I would avoid this place. The owner “Sharky” is a indeed a shark. He blatantly overcharged me and my friend and used a non-itemized receipt. He was so intimidating and awkward, we didn’t protest - but told ourselves we’d never return. For this alone, I would steer clear from this place.
The food was ordered and then came out in 5 mins, which was probably a red flag. During our meal, the owner chatted our heads OFF- alternating between us and another party. It was as if he was part of our group dinner. Our experience was not relaxing because of this and the fact that he also had Middle Eastern/TV on super loud.

I should have looked at past reviews. Never got an itemized receipt, was not told about an included gratuity. When I called and left a message about it he called me back and apologized because he "noticed" he did overcharge for one plate but would not email the receipt (I was charged on square) and would not refund the item, just insisted that I come back and "I'll get it for free whatever I want". Bro I just want the item refunded not a runaround. Ultimately I think he was just lying because he said his receipt printer didn't work but then wouldn't email the receipt which is an option. I know paid more than what I should have. $128 for two special dishes ($50), two drinks ($6), a mezze plate ($15), and hookah ($23) plus tax...Nice guy but terrible practices.

Falafels did not taste good. Saw the guy just reach into a plastic back mush up the falafel mix with one habd and throw them in the oil. Thankfully he had a glove on. But the place did not look clean at all.

A cool little place - authentic Mediterranean food, chef specials change weekly, friendly owner, relaxed atmosphere
