India Palace Restaurant - San Francisco - Photo album

This place is reopened as Royal Indian Cuisine. The food we had was amazing, service excellent and nice wine selection. The fried items weren't too breaded. The spices were on point. Tip: if you order the rack of lamb ask for it medium rare and finish it on the hot plate. ** we did not see any b
The idea of India Palace was not quite the same as the reality of India Palace. My husband and I were hoping that we'd found our go-to Indian buffet both in San Francisco and relatively near us; we tend to avoid buffets but have had some outstanding Indian food at buffets. This was not one of those
In my opinion: Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Stay away. I'm not sure which was worse, the service or the food. The food was incredibly oily and it made me sick. I'm not sure how you can make Indian food bland, but India Palace has done the impossible. Our server seemed like she was being held capti
India Palace is the best buffet in San Francisco!!!! Bar none. The vegetarian and non vegetarian is super fresh and phenomenally good. I have tried all Indian buffets and none can compete for the price. Everbidy in the City and through out the Bay Area should experience India Palace
You just can't beat the lunch buffet. Meat curries are on one side, veggie on the other, and all are wonderfully complex and with ample heat. There aren't a million options but maybe for the better - I already get stuck trying to pick what to put on my plate. (There's also a lackluster salad bar.)
I have never been to an Indian restaurant this bad. Buffet had been sitting for so long that top layer of saag had turned 2 layers darker (oxidation) . wish I had taken a pic. I just finished dinner, and I am planning to stay up all night throwing up. Every thing was super bad, even rice.. Never goi
I had a hankering for some Indian food but no desire to search high and low after work. Thankfully, there's India Palace near where I live. I got the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and saffron rice and while the chicken and rice were fine the naan wasn't garlic-y at all which was a bit disappoint
The vegetables on the buffet looked pretty bad. The naan wasn't bad, but it was a little too charred. One curry was basically meat in a bland tomato stew. The korma was pretty standard, so that's what I would order next time.
