La Mexicana Bakery - San Francisco - Photo album

Everyone must try pan dulce from here! I am a SF native of the Mission and have tried many Panaderias, but no bakery comes close to the sweetness of this one! I loved going to this little spot as a child. The small bakery itself is as fresh, bright and cheerful, as the sweet breads that decorate th
Nice little bakery. Very friendly and good prices. A self serve pot of coffee is available as well. The neighborhood is charming with an old feel to it. Lots of places to grab a meal ranging from original Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and American. We stopped in after having some spicy Mexican food,

Fresh, delicious and flavorful in the classic Mexican types: conchas, elotes and the sprinkle cookies I love. I hope this bakery n
The bread is super delish, the prices vary depending on what you get, we went early morning and the bread was still warm, it's a small bakery but they have plenty of options. They also have self serve coffee for a few bucks, the coffee itself is good too.

Delicious! Nice and fresh everytime. Always stop by when I'm in the area.
I have been coming to this place for forever. They have the freshest bread and cakes ever. And not once in a lifetime of coming here have I ever came in and wasn't greeted with a smile eager to help. Love this place.
I love this place and have been going there for almost 40 years, but went in the other day and none of the customers in that small space were wearing masks or gloves. There were three guys standing around just gabbing. I won't go back until they get the guy at the cash register gloves and a mask.
