Delicious food and very attentive service. Very tasty tofu and teriyaki tofu set. Tastes very home-style to me! Would definitely come back. Still tastes awesome even after many years.
My parents have been going to the location in Menlo Park since before I was born and they were even married. It's a long time family favorite for good value Japanese food. I grew up eating there all the time and finally got a chance to come to the San Jose location after ours closed down a few years
Homey Japanese restaurant for comfort food. You order what you crave and you get it promptly. 3 of us tried their special poke combo. It was way more than we could eat. The variety was awesome. One plate could serve two people. Service is nice. Next time I will try ramen or curry dishes.
Quiet little hole in the wall restaurants are my absolute favorite, this place was no disappointment. Their food was not only delicious, the portions are HUGE. Service was fast and friendly and food came fast. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Been here many times for dinner but this was the first time for lunch. It’s pretty much the same menu but I think a bit cheaper.

I had the lunch combo which is good for a light lunch. More choice than other nearby Japanese restaurants. You can request no rice if you try to lower your carbs and don't waste the food.
Excelent food!!! Dishes are big but great!! Specially the panko spanish mackarel and the udon
Friendly wait staff. Greàt food. I ordered the stuffed tofu. It was good. I also ordered the spicy chicken salad. It was yummy as well as super fresh/clean food.
I really enjoyed the whole meal. Affordable dinner for 1. $ 24. W/O tip.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant for classic Japanese fare. The menu is short and sweet, which allows them to focus on quality. We sat at the bar and the chefs were impressive to watch. The gyoza were perfectly crispy and delicious, so I would definitely start there and work your way through
