Pizza Bocca Lupo is without doubt about my favorite pizza places in the Bay Area. Great sauce and toppings on top of the most delicious dough crust you could find... ❤️ Located at San Pedro Square Market, it is a great place to go with friends or family, so many options to choose from so everyone can get what they like best. I usually get my pizza here and pick up a drink from Urban Ritual to enjoy alongside it. This time I got their Joe's special pizza with sausage, mushroom and mozzarella. They are always very efficient and friendly with their service. There is plenty of seating, both inside and out, with music and a couple of great bars as well. On many days there will be live music outside on the stage, especially during the summer. During the winter musicians will play inside one of the bars. Sitting outside is really nice during the summer, it feels very communal, the tables are comfortable, and if you have kids they really enjoy running around and exploring the place while you might simply enjoy listening to the music when it's playing. There are great options for dessert as well around the plaza, such as Mochinuts. This pizza place as well as this whole plaza are highly recommended for a good afternoon or evening out.

One of the best place so far to get pizza. They have plenty of vegetarian options and amazing wood fired oven! This is located inside San Pedro square so no need to about reservation. It does take time to get your order since it can get busy. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out.

Hands down to best pesto wood oven pizza in Bay area! Their margarita is also good but nothing can beat pesto! Highly recommended. Ambiance is beautiful. Service is good.

Amazing pizza for a "walk-up" pizza place in San Pedro Square Market. We had the pesto pizza with (smoked) chicken and Joe's Special. The dough was expertly rolled and baked, thin and soft in the middle, brown and crispy on the edges. Pesto pizza offered a taste that lingered, and the smoked chicken was nice and tender. Joe's Special was tomato sauce w sausages, tomatoes and mozzarella. Both excellent for a total of $30! All pizzas are 12" "personal size".

They’ve changed the options a bit since they opened, but the pizza’s quality hasn’t changed. Very good crust, cool pizza oven, and quick.

Authentic pizza place right in the heart of San Pedro square. We loved our experience here, tried vegetarian tomasso pizza and it was delicious, flavors were outstanding. We will surely be coming back to try their basil pesto and Margherita pizza. Plenty of parking available in the San Pedro Square parking garage.

While on vacation in the area (about a year ago) my husband found this place online and wanted to try. It was good! Nice ambiance on the area and surroundings too.

It’s either a very high 4 star review or a low five… love the pizza crust (almost close to a European / Italian pizza). We are eating the pizza for 7 years there now and it’s solid - in Bocca lupo never disappoints. Some of the pizzas are just top and great, it some toppings really need some improvements and are sometimes inconsistent in their mix - therefore 4 stars.

When you're craving a slice on a Sunday evening in San Jose, Pizza Bocca Lupo is the spot to hit. With its elegantly slender crust and an assortment of time-honored toppings, this establishment crafts a pie that is both authentic and sophisticated. Amidst the ebb and flow of the city's rhythm, when many doors close, Pizza Bocca Lupo remains a beacon of consistency and affordability. It rightfully claims its status as one of San Jose's premier pizzerias, delivering quality that elevates even the simplest of meals.
