Pros: yummy empanadas, good selection of food and drinks and desserts, friendly staff. Not an expert in Colombian food, but saw someone there that regularly drove two hours for the food here. Cons: no restrooms, some of the drinks are way too sweet, no indoor seating

Went to this place because of the reviews and it did not disappoint! I was looking for a Colombian bakery that serves pandebono, and I found this place about 14miles away from where we live. We ordered Beef, spinach and chicken empanadas also ordered the sausage finger, as well as pandebono, pandeguava and another pastry (forgot what it’s called). We loved the beef, very value for money, it’s packed with filling and very tasty, we liked the spinach too, the chicken was ok. We will try the ham and cheese next time. On a plus side, there is an ARCO gas station nearby that has really cheap gas prices that I have seen around the area, so aside from the excellent food, cheap gas in the area, it is definitely worth the drive.

Best empanadas in the Bay Area. I had the spinach, beef and ham and cheese and they were all really flavorful. The pumpkin empanada for dessert is great too. Not too sweet, flaky crust

Appreciate the gluten free options. All items pictured are GF. They had 3 more GF items available. 2 types of empanadas and 2 additional cheese bread. Only the not that could have made it better were a few chairs and tables inside (they have some outside).

Went on an empanada hunt today looking for the best in San Jose. I think I found them. Not only are their baked empanadas great so are their Colombian style fried and they have amazing cheese breads and deserts. Modern, clean, friendly staff and excellent Empanadas! You gotta try this place out. Ask for their spicy salsa. Try a Bunuelo, WOW! 😱🤯

Although it was a bit cold (only outside covered seating!), the warm empanadas were lovely! Highly recommend trying one of the combo lunches so you can sample the offerings. I had combo #1 which had two empanadas (I chose beef and chicken/potato) with salsa, salad (I chose the Spring salad that came with a mango dressing) and a guava finger for dessert. Pastry was thin and flaky and the filling was spiced (but not spicy). Loved everything I had!

Milohas is known as one of the best places to go for Colombian treats. They make excellent bonuelos and Colombian style empanadas. They also have a great selection of sweet empanadas and Colombian specialty desserts. It is also a great coffee shop specializing in the strong blend of coffee that they serve in Colombia. There are plenty of other items that you can order from their menu as well for a nice breakfast or lunch experience. The service was great, I was going to visit some Colombian friends in Sacramento and they gave a great recommendation for a selection of goodies to bring. Really a treat for my colombian friends as they do not have many such places out that way. If you are looking for delicious cheese bonuelos with a nice strong coffee, this place is highly recommended.

Great food, great service, great dessert. I buy and freeze the empanadas for a rainy day. My personal favorite is beef and potatoe. Enjoy!

It was our first visit to this restaurant. The soup was superb, hot and flavored. It was chicken and rice soup. My chicken and potato empanada was flaky moist and very flavorful. We're going back again.

I went there with my Colombian friend, and she said the bread there was nice! We ordered the Hawaii flavor, tasted like pizza but it’s more crunchy. I think those were okay. The prices were pretty reasonable!

Sooo good. Got a beef empanada and a guava pastry, both deliciously warm and flaky, and an organic black tea. The cashier and other employees were all really sweet and got everything perfect. Definitely check it out!!

The empanadas are great! Pretty limited seating though. Only a couple tables outside. If you live in the area take out would be good. You can get both savory for your main meal and then sweet for dessert.

They have a great variety. The empanadas are stuffed with filling. Most options are meat based but there is at least one vegetarian option. I was surprised by the gluten free options. They do not have savory gf empanadas. But they have a gf guava-cheese that is exquisite!! I should have ordered more to bring home.

Amazing staff and gluten free baked goods! So appreciative of the staff willing to take extra care of handling the items to be safe for my wife with celiac, and it was all delicious. Literally we tried everything😃

My family and I highly recommend Milohas. Their empanadas and tamales are awesome! We haven't tried the sweets YET, but they're calling our name and all look delicious, too!

I have no idea how I just learned about this place. This place is a gem. EVERYTHING I got was amazing! I got the baked chicken and potato empanada w/ summer salad and one of their tamales. Their tamale was enormous! Everything was perfectly spiced. Their summer salad added a great fresh crunch to the savory meal. Highly recommend !

On my list for places to check out for quite some time… I’ve had bad empanadas before so that probably explains holding off… But man they definitely refreshed that previous impression! The overall feel is like a handheld pot pie. Has that same homey feel with wonderfully savory ingredients. Good quality and good service!

Came here Christmas Eve to get lunch. The line was quite long. Food was good though. Beef empanada was the favorite.
