Hokkaido Ramen Santouka - San Jose - Photo album

I have never heard anyone say they dislike the ramen here, which is shocking for a grocery store food court! There's almost always a line here, so the hype is definitely real. There's combo deals here, so I went for the B Combo (Miso Ramen & Salmon Ikura Rice Bowl). For about $22, it's a decent pri
This food court location is inside the Mitsuwa Supermarket. Food is great , noodle texture excellent, soup base is good match with noodle , Chashu a little bit chewy but still good . Just doesn’t like the service , everything by yourself , not friendly, not passion, look like they want you order &
This is inside the food court of the Mitsuwa Japanese grocery store. There is display of the food items with number and that makes ordering straight forward. My wife and I ordered two different ramen. Both ramen came with very flavorful soup base and tasty chashu. We liked both ramen.
Tasty ramen comes with small portions and a bit salty soup
Been craving their Ramen and it was a perfect treat after my hike. Got me the pork based soup, medium for $15.95, Cha Shio with extra egg ($3 add'l). The meal was total $20.73. I can't remember what i got last time but i know i try each different soup base and they have never disappoint. Missing J
Got soy sauce ramen, broth was tasty and the noodles was the best of ramen noodles. Seatings are limited.
Pretty good, ordered the B combo with spicy Ramen. The Ramen has a good tooth, the soup is good, they give lots of toppings and it comes nice and hot. It's only $1 more for the large. The ikura and sake don (salmon roe and salmon bowl) is good but they now put it in a plastic clam shell instead of a
It's very good. Deep flavor, broth comes out piping hot; very creamy texture. Thick, heavy bowls that retain the heat as well. The spicy miso broth was better than the special pork, but both were excellent. As always, be prepared to wait. We came at 5pm when it was pretty slow and it was still a
Classic spot within Mitsuwa for ramen. It's a very quick process of lineup, pay, wait till they call your number/sit in the food court, clean up after yourself post-meal. Wait can get long during peak hours. They still have the screens between tables which is respectful for covid. Food-wise, I love
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is inside the food court of Mitsuwa. It was once so popular that you had to line up for almost an hour in order to get your ramen. It’s good that now it’s not as crazy after the pandemic. They used to give you free plastic cups and water, but they don’t anymore. We like t
It’s good ramen, but broth a bit greasy. the place is located in the shopping center.
Great ramen! I haven’t been here in a few years but it did not disappoint. Lines are quick and staff is helpful. Prices are not bad either. We ordered the Soyu ramen large which was an okay size and a medium spicy miso ramen along with rice and salmon dish. I would skip out on the rice dish though.
A popular Hokkaido ramen franchise that specializes in miso ramen. Would recommend getting a set with the spicy miso or regular miso ramen. A large upgrade is barely a $1, so a great value if you're hungry. This is also one of the few ramen spots that offers natto as a side dish. Better than hotel
Best ramen in Northern California. The broth is flavorful and well balanced. The noodles are cooked perfectly. Eggs are good, but texture is a little too hard boiled. Long lines, but well worth the wait.
Great ramen place. This place is inside a complex with Japanese grocery store, book store, desert places and few other eateries. The ramen was tasty but the seating area was limited, given the long queue at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the spicy miso ramen. Very flavorful and tasty. We had to
Good solid ramen. There usually is a queue there. Santorum is a good stall inside of Nijiya Market food court. It is not fancy and there is no table services. You get in line - which usually is long, pick your dish, pay for it and wait for your number. Doesn’t sound that good, no? But this is not a
