Amazing! I wolfed town a plate of this deliousness in minutes. I couldn't stop eating it. The Korean Beef, toasted rice, green beans and carrots. My co-workers were surprised at how quiet I was (I am a talker ) Can't wait for the Santa Cruz location. I could lunch there every day! Had the firecracker pork last time I was there. Again, it was BOMB!

Love, love, love. Sometimes I go classic and get beef - but usually try healthy and do greens with tofu. Very very good and great value, great service.

The service was very nice. they had many choices for veggies, protein and rice. they even gave me chopped green onions as complimentary for my boxed lunch. I got the hodo tofu, the zucchini, kimchi, and one other veggie, and it was super delicious! I am looking forward in coming back again to have lunch or dinner! =)

Wow! What an amazing Korean food experience. I love Korean food and especially being a vegetarian, there are one or two Korean spots in south bay that I regularly go where they offer vegetarian and vegan choices. HoM Korean Kitchen is one of them. It's typically the Chipotle style of fill your bowl with your choices type of restaurant. You are offered with proteins like beef, pork, chicken, steak, vegetables and tofu. Choose from white or brown rice and salad for the base. Then add from the banchans like green beans, carrots, kimchi, cucumbers, etc. Banchans are sides that are cooked the Korean way. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, then you can ask for vegan kimchi instead of the regular. Lastly, choose from a variety of sauces. The menu is designed in such a way that it balances the choices of diverse set of people like meat lovers, salad style eaters, vegetarian and vegan. The price is very economical for the basic bowl and portion size is balanced. With delicious taste and customizable meal, my family has made this restaurant as one of our favorites.

This is one of my go to spots after work to grab a quick dinner. Their grilled chicken is always fresh and flavorful. Staff is a hit and miss but I appreciate the ones who always hook us up or give their recommendation on what's fresh. Can't complain I stay coming back for my chicken bowl.

They have vegan options (tofu). Staff is very friendly and helpful. A small establishment in the downtown area. Seating inside (including a few window spots) and outside. Parking Garage nearby, close to city hall and nightlife. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Expect to see city sights, the food and service is great regardless.

Brilliant build your own Korean BBQ! The staff were really friendly and allowed me to have a mix of all the meats so I could try everything. I had the mixed grain rice, all the meats, cucumber, bean sprouts and green beans with a fried egg. It was perfect, and just what I was after! The meat was all very flavoursome, but I must say, surprisingly to me, the steak was the best! Very tender and the spices it was cooked in were amazing! I would definitely go back.

HoM Korean Kitchen is absolutely delicious! I wish they had more locations. I got mixed grain rice, half braised beef and Korean steak, spinach, carrots, kimchi, green onions, and an egg. I highly recommend the spinach, it’s amazing. The location is rather small, but very cute. Staff was nice and provided great service.

Think Chipotle but for Korean food. The food quality is good. I had a bowl with white rice, bulgogi steak, cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and broccoli. They have sauces on the side for you to add to your liking. Expect to pay around $10.

Essentially, it is a Korean Chipotle where you can only get a bowl. For a chicken bowl with a full scoop of chicken and an egg on top it was around $13 bucks. The veggies are cold as traditional Korean dishes do it. You can select up to 3 veggies. Overall it is pretty good. Very quick service and a nice little spot.

A hidden gem in downtown San Jose. The absolute best. It's got a vintage esque atmosphere. You can see right into the kitchen. There's interesting art on the wall and the chairs/stools and tables all have a very hip feel to them. My friend jokes that it's like a Korean subway lol. The staff there is really chill and friendly, too. They can usually tell if it's your first time and will explain to you how everything works.I'm a vegan and I always have a wonderful meal (they have vegan Kimchi!). The food is without a doubt health conscious since they have a sign in their window stating that the food inside is MSG free... Whatever that means haha. For all those vegans/vegetarians: there's tofu and veggie bowls! The house sauce is also bomb! Whenever I visit San Jose, this joint is always at the top of my list of places to eat/visit. ❤

Fast food place where you pick what you want on the bowl, but relatively healthy. Good large portions.

Alway see lots of people at this place, so I give it a try. How to order the food was easy and nothing complicated. Their side dishes was all great. The BBQ chicken and Korean Beef was also good and you need to eat it with their special red sauce.

I enjoyed a meal of Korean beef over white rice with carrots, broccoli, and kimchi accompanied by a Laganitas IPA. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the Korean beef. The carrots, broccoli and kimchi are served cold, which I wasn't expecting (not a regular Korean food eater) but didn't detract from the experience. The staff were very friendly. I would recommend HoM Korean Kitchen for a very good meal at a reasonable price.

Food, service, vibe, and esthetic are all on point. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Baked rice with chicken and veggies for under $8. Quality and quantity were both high. Also, the ginger ale with soju was really good, not too sweet, but be careful, the soju is undetectable!
