Great place to come and enjoy good service and food all in one!! Recommend this place! Employees there are great too, they recently contacted us because we forgot a $50 gift card on Sunday there :-)
It was busy busy busy when my buddy and I walked in. Not only are the serving staff cute but they're fast and don't have an attitude ! The chicken tacos 🌮 were good as was zee beer. But that's a given. Definitely will be back. 🙏🏻 DG

I have been coming to Rookies since the month they first opened. It is our #1 go-to sports bar, especially for college football and NFL. They are the absolute best at putting any game on that you want to watch no matter how random the matchup. Yesterday, I had my 40th b-day bash in the back room. I cannot recommend this enough for your next big event be it a fantasy draft or anything else. Our waitress, Monica, busted her hump for the nearly 40-plus people that packed the room. She seriously was awesome. Rookies helped make my 40th one of the best birthdays ever, and I plan on reserving the room every year going forward for my b-day. Oh ... and the food is amazing and the staff could not possibly be nicer or more professional. Be leery of some of the poor reviews left on here by drunken idiots who are a pain in the backside not just at Rookies, but at any bar.

me and my husband love coming here to hangout with all of our friends and Watch all of our favorite sports teams. They have great food awesome drinks and such a wonderful staff.

It's a sports bar. What can I say? Well, there are a lot of sports minded people here. All with their own opinions. I tried to enjoy a Guinness beer and nachos. I hoped to be able to watch recaps without all the redirect and commentary. No such luck.
Food was okay. Not enough cheese on the nachos. Beer great - fresh from the tap. Not skunky. Clean glasses. And excellent customer service.

Nice little place with a great selection of beers. We ordered jalapeno poppers - not good at all. They barely had any cheese and were topped with some kind of unidentifiable ingredients. The service was fantastic!
The steak nachos were plentiful and again barely any cheese. The guacamole was fantastic!
I have been coming here since becoming a local several years ago. The service has always been, hands down, the best I have ever experienced at a sports bar. I consider myself to be a pretty laid back patron, but even so they have always been so good at anticipating what I might need for my meal, correcting any errors before it even becomes a thing, and providing suggestions and alternatives when needed. Today was no exception and I felt a 5 ⭐️ was in order! So grateful to have such a chill place right around the corner from home!
Great place good people working there the managers are awesome. Nicole Stephanie and julie are rookies originals. One of the best places to go to go watch a game or even just simply go there for lunch.

Food was great. I enjoyed the black diamond hot sauce. Staff was super friendly. TVs had all the sports.
Awesome spot to watch the UFC, great vibe and good chill people. Nice crowd and the service girls are excellent and attentive. All round win.

Awesome location and atmosphere. Must admit it's nothing like the downtown San Jose location. nothing against downtown San Jose but that type of sports lounge is not my cup of tea personally. Met up here with a couple of coworker buddies and had a great time. Thank you for the awesome service, great grub and drinks

Been to Rookies many times before, been a little while though, but ultimately I was very pleased this last time there. Started off with a tasty Irish Coffee, and then from there the food was great as well, shared some nachos and their pulled porked pizza (fantastic taste combination), and the service was timely and friendly!

Sexy bartenders. Good food. Great place to watch a sports event. 4’11 Latina waitress was so friendly. And the cocktails are strong.
Nachos is very full filling (it was a little bit cold). Great selection of beers. Attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. Lots of screens.
Nice place to have a drink or two. Had the blue & tan here and it was such a refreshing drink.
Not to mention the good service as well!
We've enjoyed Rookies since they opened. We've been many times over the years, and this is my first review for them. Consistency is key, and my family continues to go because the hella nice people and crazy tasty food is consistently on point. Local ownership is another plus (because we try to support local as much as we can) in what makes Rookies awesome. Three cheers to Rookies for being awesome! Keep up the great work, and we'll see you again soon!
That was a really solid bar. Been there a couple of times before, but tonight was special. Maybe it's the plague keeping me repressed, but it was a really refreshing experience. Great food, super cool wait-staff. Happy to go back ASAP. Did I mention they have a really special licious sour?
Went to Rookies on a day when both Sharks and Quakes were playing. The place was packed, nowhere to sit other than outside on the benches. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. They were not obligated to serve us outside but they did and had excellent service. All the servers were super sweet. Fish tacos, calamari, grilled veggies and fries were all great.
