Fresh, in-house made corn and flour tortillas, very tasty. The menu consists of Mexican faves. Excellent chilaquiles served with house potatoes and black beans. Make sure you specify if you want mild salsa. Pozeleo is delicious. It’s served in a large bowl, enough to share between 2 people. Good service.
Great food! They serve large plates of delicious food, enchilada sauce is really good, shrimp are always well cooked. Beer is always cold. Great service - the staff is super friendly. We'll definitely be returning here a lot!

So good we went two days in a row. Tacos are so flavor packed, and the price is amazing. The owners and staff are so friendly, even recognized us from the day prior! The cinnamon dessert tortillas are also to die for. Exciting to see them building an entire new bar from yesterday to today! Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to San Jose. Was walking distance from our Airbnb and we went back multiple times. We’re from Miami and can say the tacos were top notch. Enchiladas are delicious. Plenty of tvs with sports, Latin music and brews.
Gal who took our order was super nice, & could have made 2 burritos out of the 1 ordered. Margarita weak @ first, then she added more tequila & mango flavoring, was pretty good!
We came here on a Wednesday evening and had the place to ourselves. The patio is cute and roomy and overlooks a neighborhood that's half adorable and half a little less adorable. The food was fresh and delicious. The flour tortillas especially were amazing! The waitress was sweet and attentive. Pride of ownership really came through!
