The Halal Guys - San Jose - Photo album

Their sauce packet said "we are different". I feel like most restaurants want to be different. Wanting to be different seems pretty ordinary. What would really make this place different is if their sauce packet said "we are ordinary". Being ordinary is underrated. I'd love to see a documentary on an
First time trying this place. Loved the falafel dinner with all the toppings (jalapeños, purple olives, bell peppers, tomatoes). And their signature white sauce with some hot sauce on the side. I tasted the beef and I'm definitely gonna get that next time. Falafel balls were good, just a bit over fr
The Halal Guys is an absolute must-try! Their platters are a tasty blend of flavors, from the tender meats to the flavorful sauces. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff is friendly. I keep coming back for their delicious dishes. Highly recommended!
I finally got to try this place after all the hype and was it worth it? It was pretty good. Luckily there was no line. I got the small gyro platter, which I regretted later as I could have ate more, but maybe I was just super hungry that day. I was surprised that this was pretty good. For some reaso
Yummy chicken and beef gyro over rice! I have had their food in New York. They have replicated the taste in California. Sure you can’t replicate that feel of eating on the streets of Manhattan in cold winter. But this will be as close as you can get in California. Their menu is very simple. I recomm
The chewy pita slices, the balance of rice, meat, and salad, the awesome white sauce (Basically super delicious ranch sauce) and a little bit of the super spicy hot sauce. What's not to like? However if you've tried New York's it might be a little disappointing here because they give you less, it co
Ordered the plant based gyro platter online and added olives, jalapeños, and falafels. The Vegan tzatziki sauce is amazing! So much food, definitely enough to share just get extra pitas. Hopefully, they will add more plant based options soon
First time to try their food and I would say it’s kinda salty for me. I ordered the combo platter (beef and chicken), the portion of the meat is just ok. But the good part is my wife liked it. Happy wife, happy life!!!! We’ll try their sandwich next time.
One of the authentic places serving Chicken Shawerma and Gyros.. Had a flavourful chicken Shawerma platter with an aromatic saffron rice and sauce. !! CAUTION: Beware of the Hot sauce ! It is truly hot and Spicy !! If you are a spice lover should try it once ! Also Beef Shawarma is available and all
Always a great idea to visit Halal Guys. Big plates, super warm and nice staff. And love the chicken over rice.
The food It's really delicious, but I'll explain why I give it 4 star. Reason 1: The portions are smaller than Panda's Chipotle (The hot sauce is very spicy and delicious)Reason 2: I use DoorDash to order food, and the staff seems to give priority to people who order on-site.
Well the long line should tell you that other people like this place. I on the other hand like to see foe myself. So i stood in line which moves steadily along, not a lot of choices but they have it down for what they do. I chose the combo platter because it looked like a lot of food. I then noticed
Amazingly yum Mediterranean place. It's a pretty famous chain on the east coast -- was very glad when they opened it on the west coast. Once I tried it, it was evident why people love it :) i usually have their vegetarian falafel rice bowl. Heard their chicken is delicious too. Their white yogurt sa
My go-to is the regular combo with beef and chicken, extra lettuce and tomato, rice and 2 strips of the RED SAUCE and a good amount of the white sauce ($10.50 including tax). Be warned about the red sauce. If you have low spiciness tolerance, try a tiny bit of it first. My friend nearly cried after
