Soong Soong Chinese Restaurant - San Jose - Photo album

We arrived at 1:20pm, but there is still a line. We have to wait for 25min. However, the wait worth it. All the dishes we ordered tasted great! Portions are large too! We especially love the chinese pancake and the pork bun. The sweet and sour fried pork slices is also authentic! There are plenty
We went for breakfast and absolutely enjoyed the food! They offer so many authentic Chinese breakfast options, such as the classic sweet soy milk & fried dough. The sweet soy milk portion is much larger than we expected, enough for 2 people to share. The fried dough is very crispy, loved it! We also
Parents really enjoy this place, but most of the food is just alright. The seafood winter melon soup is really good. The eggplant is good, and the beef pancakes are great as well. The Dan Dan noodles were bitter. Service usually pretty friendly. We come here pretty often and the food taste varies qu
legendary Chinese pancake煎饼果子 very authentic. Soybean milk is great as well. Also, the price is so cheap, but with a great amount.
Excellent food but they are always busy so the servers are a little overwhelmed. The atmosphere can be better.
I have been dining at this place before. Since the pandemic, this is the first time I came back. A lot of people dine in. Love the soup. The taste has been great. There are many choices, Taiwanese style and shanghai style. I don’t recommend the oyster pancake due to lack of veges on the pancake. A l
The food taste amazing! One of the best comfort food in Bay Area! Love their beef burrito and mutton soup, would come back for more ! Literally can’t go wrong with any choice. Ample parking outside the restaurant, plus point!
The food is delicious with decent price. There are many choices on the menu. Service is quick and good. Previously we ordered Purple rice porridge at take-out, which tastes awesome. However, it only serves in dinner.
Food is good but service is super slow.
Definitely one of my favorites in the area! Nice food with fair price, this is my go-to place when I don’t know what to order. And the sweet purple rice desert they serve post meal is awesome!
Really great little spot for some authentic food. Their portions are great for the money, also gotta try their hot and sour soup! And their hamburger. The soup was a small order, and the portion was a large. Very happy with how giving they are. Also gave me an extra treat at pickup just because. I h
Good food. Good prices. Authentic Chinese food. Great fish and duck dishes. Chinese Chicken salad-tasty and not greasy. Fabulous hot and sour soup. I have switched over to this place as my go to Chinese food. I have to go out of my way to get there but the food and prices are so much better than the
Fish porridge, pancake, fried rice and fish with chopped chilli peppers. Everything was excellent. My fish melted and was very mild, spice was just the right level. Pancake was crispy and a little greasy. Porridge was great. Service was good. We'll be back.
My friends invited us to this place that they have visited for decades, since they were attending SJSU. I liked their food and the fact that they had tasty vegetarian options made it easy for some of the people in our party. Food was served quite promptly.
Great food. Price is very cheap
Had Peking duck. Donuts wrapped in pancake and greens. All really tasty. Best peeking duck I have had, but then I didn't have many. The service was friendly and quick.
I always go to this place for brunch. Dan-dan noodle is good and the beef roll is impressive. But I have to say the pancake is not consistent, sometimes good sometimes ok. Authentic and reasonable price.
