Stop here on our way through San Jose. So happy we did. Great dim sum. The garlic shrimp rolls, Shanghai soup dumplings, garlic bok choy, chow fun, and salt pepper fish were perfect. My daughter said she’d come here every week if we lived in town. This is definitely be our go to when we’re in the area.
The dim sum was excellent. And the service was even better. We were so happy to find a place that serves the foo kin style rice with the gravy. The server was very surprised we knew what it was and that we love it! We will definitely be back. Seems like they do more take out than dine in but it was also a Monday evening.

Well got to say it's on my list of favorite restaurants.
Love the tasty dim sum and the price. Very inexpensive but tasty, best bang for your dollar 💵. Enough food to go on each plate. DiM sum prices range from $4-$9 and vary from 3-7,8 piece per plate. Tasty again.
I look for inexpensive tasty food and this spot is the shisnut.
Very tasty
I got the siu mai $6.25
I got the beef balls $6.25
My favorite
Shanghai dump $8.95 (filled with soup) Pop in your mouth.
Wonton soup.
$1 tea pot not one cup.
Really great service. Wonton soup got served by my waitress. Great service.
Highly recommend! Will be back often.
It was my first time here. The dim sum is on par and better than that fancy Din place at Valley Fair. The rice paper and shrimp dim sum is above the rest. We did not like Chinese chicken salad at all, minus 1 star. I am looking forward to dine in experience.

Food wise, it's pretty good. We had dim sum for lunch. They have the typical dim sum dishes. Personal, I feel the shell for the shrimp dumplings and chive dumplings are a bit thick. However that's just my preference. If you like the thicker shell dumplings, you'll like it here.
Food comes out pretty quick and my shrimp eggplant dish was hot and crunchy. Yay.
Fairly clean and good service from the s
Look like you can do a small reception here for wedding.
One of the best Chinese food restaurant in San Jose. My kids loved the broccoli. They took special care of my daughter's nuts allergy. The food is tasty with its unique Ocean delight style. Normal delays in the serving since we placed the order until the food was on the table. No complaints at all!
Reasonably tasty dimsum, good price, and fast service on a Sunday morning. Plus they open at 9am!
We ended up paying $20 pp after tax and tip for a good amount of food.
It's been around for nearly 20 years. Year in year out, like a reliable jalopy, it provides reliable meals. The flavors of its dishes is the traditional 80s Chinese style, a mixture of Cantonese and southern China and American. Good value meals!...and it survived the pandemic!
Food was good as usual! If only I could keep eating.
Yuen yang fried rice- big hit with everyone (this was new to 2 people in our party). Beautifully displayed. Both sauces were great, rice soaked up the flavor!
Fried tofu- freshly fried, hot. Silky tofu and crispy outer. Shrimp tasted good with delicious brown sauce. (This was also new to the 2 people in our party and they were surprised that tofu was good!)
Peking duck 2 ways - At first the crispy duck portion I thought looked a little measly/bony, not a lot of meat, not too pretty, but when the 2nd way came out, they really used all the meat for that, which I'm okay with. It overall tasted good which I think is more important.
Sizzling rice soup- It tasted good/flavorful as well but was expecting the rice to sizzle more. The rice easily got soggy, was expecting more crunch. Tasted good though.
Salt and pepper pork - not pictured. Very good too. I ate quite a bit of this. For one of our party they were new to it and thought it tasted good but wasn't expecting the spice, haha.
The rest of the dishes were good too (see photos), albeit kind of not as special/banquety.
We will definitely be back. We all enjoyed this meal greatly, and the service was good as usual.
Decent selection of Chinese food and dim sum. You can pretty much customize everything you want as long as you ask nicely from the owner or manager. There aren't really a lot of good Chinese options in the South Bay so this can be your go-to place in San Jose. There is always a seafood special on the menu like a steamed flounder or grilled sea bass.
Delish and close to our house… our go to for Chinese and dim sum
The Dim Sum was tasty, service prompt (5PM on Monday) and friendly. Tried the Pork and Shrimp Dumplings (Siu Mai), Shrimp and Crab Dumplings, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, and Baked BBQ Puff.
Absolutely my favorite for Peking duck! The skin is perfectly crispy with perfectly fluffy buns, at a much lower price than the more busy restaurants further away (like in Milpitas or Cupertino).
Tip: they serve Dim Sum all day! Ask for the picture booklet if you're introducing a friend to this! Every restaurant should have a dim sum picture booklet (although it only makes sense when they make it fresh to order, rather than going by with carts of the same stuff all morning, like in Milpitas or Cupertino)
Been coming here for a long time and staff are always nice and while not the best dim sum, it is consistently good and great atmosphere. Never too crazy crowded and great for family time.
Great dim sum, fast service and good taste! Sorry we took a photo of our half eaten food. All the dishes you see here are great. The Chinese broccoli was simply steamed but it was the perfect texture, not over-cooked. Polo bun has awesome custard inside. The buns were all very good. Would love to return here to try their other dishes.
Had driven by Ocean Delight in years past, but finally got to try it during the pandemic. Both ordering take out and later dining in once things opened up. Very impressed!
Dimsum mainstays like Har gow, Siu Mai, and shrimp rice noodle rolls are Well-portioned, hot, and flavorful. Haven’t sampled entire Dimsum menu, but everything else I had was solid.
Ocean Delight is an easy recommendation for me when in the South San Jose area.
