Quaint and quirky little lovely sandwich shop. Their sourdough is fresh, backed on site. They have a large selection of meat cuts and sandwich styles. And, conveniently for « hangry » jurors, just a few steps from the Santa Clara Hall of Justice.

The bread is crazy fresh and the ingredients are top notch. Love the #3 - turkey and Swiss, but I disturbed Swiss for chedda
This is the single best sandwich I’ve ever had. Been going here for almost 29 years. And the place is one of a kind. Get a sandwich, sit in the back, enjoy the art. Wonderful sandwich shop. Best in the bay by far.
I grew up in San Jose and can't believe I've never been here before! I can't rave enough about this place! Beautiful scenery around the restaurant. Alot of plants and cozy outdoor seating! Service was great and the sandwich I had was to die for! I got the #10 ham, turkey and cheese. It was excellent
