This is a great neighborhood bar. Bea the bartender was very friendly. And all the regulars were very welcoming. This was our first time there and we left knowing the name of at least three of the regulars. They have some good pool players if you fancy a game. Plenty of tvs for sports. And the drink

I love this little sports bar. Very relaxed crowd and diverse. They have a new bartender TIFFANY who is fantastic!!! Great conversation. And just an all around good vibe.. I would definitely recommend!!!
Nice & quiet hole in the wall bar that's been around for about 40 years. The type of place where everyone knows everyone. I'm sort of a semi regular there, so for me it's more of a hideout where I go when I just wanna get away for a bit
The bartender kieth is outstanding open minded and friendly oh and very funny. He made me a drink that was great! Very cozy and super cool on a very hot day!
Felt like an older crowd. Hidden In the corner, had a bunch of people hanging out on the side lot. Small and quiet. Has a pool table and a few beers on tap
Not to bad of a place.their drink prices are good i will say..n they have daily specials which is good.wish thwy had more then one pool table and mayb like a little sitting lounge area to hangout ... Instead of sittin in a circle at the bar forced to stare at eachother.
I’ve been going to the buckhorn in and off since 1971 bartenders have always been friendly. The place hasn’t changed in all these years, nice to have an establishment/institution that remains totally Eastside San Jose

Good local bar with locals in attendence. Prices are good. Always have a type of beer I like.
On the whole the Buckhorn Tavern is a nice decent place to have drinks play pool conversate and be comfortable
