Great jukebox, great friends, good drinks and great prices. Cool live music situation happening throughout the week as well as comedy nights on Tuesday! I love this place.

A great dive with the perfect atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and so were the patrons. Cheap drinks mixed as strong as the Lord intended. The decor has to be seen to be believed, so drop in for a drink or two (or five) and just soak up the place.

The friendliest dive bar in San Jose. I started coming here when I first arrived in town and it has become one of my favorite places for a quick and affordable drink.

Free pool, cheap drinks, nice strangers. This bar is kind of a hole in the wall.

Super fun environment, great wall art, good music. Drinks are reasonably priced and the pool table is a nice feature. I went on a Thursday last summer...wish i knew who was the dj, they were great!

Cool bar to go to. Wish they had a bigger selection of beer. Also the service is a hit or miss. Sometimes the bartenders are nice, other times they aren't. The art work is nice to look at. Small place, gets crowded fast.

Really friendly bartenders. Always felt welcomed and safe. I didn't drink in the past, and the bartenders were super cool with that. I love the skateboards and art. I only come here on travel visits, will always be my go to spot.

A local staple with cheap drinks and beer. A total dive, but not in a wannabe, douchey hipster sorta way. This is your typical dive bar, so don't let the customers scare you away. They've made some recent upgrades to the interior, so it doesn't look as trashy as it used to. Definitely worth checking out!

Stopped in based on other reviews; it's divey but more of an open space; nothing crazy fancy. Good selection of Lagunitas, plus the domestic staples (if you're into that). The black structure with colorful items (skateboard decks, art, signs & the such) giving it a decent pop. Best of all though, the crowd was friendly and fun to watch! I'm told it was heavily renovated back in Nov, so if you came a year ago, I'm guessing it's a distinctly different feel.

Cute little dive in downtown San Jose with a great atmosphere and great beer selection. It's decorated entirely in old-school art deco murals with a great jukebox. It is cash only, but there's an ATM just inside the door. The bartenders are all very friendly.

Cool little bar right by the Improv. My buddy says it's always empty which wouldn't be good except they have a little pool table that is free for customers to use. I went last night for the first time and there were 3 other people there by the time we left but they had TV's with Rick and Morty playing loud enough that I could hear the dialogue and the pool was free. The bartender was able to serve me beer and cider so I could mix my own snakebite. I have simple needs.

It's a dive bar that cleaned itself up. There's red lights through mason jars, and black walls. A jukebox that plays decent music. Beers are cheap. Pool is free. Bartenders are lovable and grumpy. Don't be a dick.

One of the Best Old School Dive Bars in San Jose'. Occasionally Scumby Drunk Patrons make others there feel uncomfortable, yet it's a wannabe Nice Dive Bar, so what does one expect? Check it out!

My fave dive bar in SJ. Wouldn't have made it through college without this spot. Many many good memories here. Hopefully, they open back up soon enough...

This place was lovely, they do not have shaved ice for margaritas but who cares. When the custumer servise is on you don't really mind. This bar is mostly for man but they were very welcoming when I droped by for a drink. 🏆 they won my heart.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into this place; my friends had invited me for a party. I learned that the Cine of Cinebar is because they play movie on their two TVs at the corners of the bar. It's a pretty neat concept. The place was pretty crowded for a Sunday night, so I can only imagine what the other weekend nights are like. The bartender was friendly enough, but nothing over the top. A good thing to note is they only accept cash on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The rest of the time, there's a $10 minimum on credit purchases.

Drinks are served well and at a cheap price. There was a change of ownership and remodeling so the vibe has changed a lot. The word "cine" applies very little now since they don't add their own movies anymore and just set the tv to a cable movie channel. Great to start the night and catch up with friends over a drink. Missed the old vibe though...

Free pool table. Hip crowd. Fancy skateboards and Darth Vader wallpaper on the wall. Good music. Nice selection of drinks. Not very expensive. What more do you want?
