I love many things here. The chicken salad is addictive. I love pork, beef, and chicken. Very tasty. Their tempura vegetables are also great! The large meat combo meal with no rice & double salad is my go-to meal. Love it! Parking is plentiful. My wife sometimes gets the eggplant & tofu bowl. Chicken breasts are really tender & marinaded.

Hidden Gem in the east SJ. My fave resto. They just renovated the whole thing. I hope they survive. Food and especially the teriyaki sauce is bomb.
Salmon Teriyaki bowl comes with your choice of rice and onion rings. Quantity can be better. Thai Chicken Salad was good but it looked nothing like the advertised or on the menu pictures. Don’t forget to add Teriyaki or Thai sauce to the dish before eating as it’s not pre added. Service was good and staff was friendly.
Great place for a quick food stop. Restaurant was very clean And customer service was great. You get a good amount of food for the price you pay. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with a side of miso soup. Chicken teriyaki plate was delicious but chicken was a bit too dry for my tasting. Miso soup Definitely needed some flavor and salt. Other than that, will definitely be coming back soon!
Great customer service fm. Sophia. Large menu w/many healthy veggies &meat platters to choose from. Ordered daily special posted on front door that consisted of 1 pce. Of chicken; teryaki beef meat, rice&salad for $5.99. Teryaki burger was ordered &must day: huge&delicious looking w/pineapple! Thank u folks4 a great visit on my first visit to happy house&Sophia. :')

One of my long-time favorites in SJ. Freshly prepared and nice remodeled dining room. Wheel chair accessible, no bathroom that I'm aware of.
We really enjoy eat in happi house the food there is amazing and Miguel is always super helpful and friendly, they always have fresh food and the salmon teriyaki and salads are incredible we love their food.

One of my favorites from when I was a kid. This is apparently one of two locations left. Everything was amazing tonight. Chicken was super fresh and tender, pork was perfectly cooked, and the beef rice was fantastic. So, so good!
I never get tired of a happy house. I was saddened to see so many closing their doors. I live in San Mateo County, but have to travel down to San jose to eat. I wish they would open more.
Food was good. Hadn't been here in a while and taste like i remember. Service was a little slow, and restaurant was kinda dirty inside, looked like needed to wipe down a few tables. Other than that wasn't to bad.
This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat for fast food. It's always delicious and never never had a complaint. The soup is unreal. Love everything about it been and dining here since high school.
