When i am in North San Jose I always make a visit here for lunch. Prices are reasonable for lunch and the food is fresh, tasty and hot.
Love the fresh and warm pan de sal. Palabok is delicious, too.

This hot spot never fails to deliver delicious Filipino delicacies. You'll find many desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. My personal favorites are palabok, turon, kare kare, ube pandesal, and kalamay. Remember to grab a ticket number once inside. Finding parking can be an issue during popular t
I love many things here like fried bananas ( but recently the turons were soggy and not completely cooked, pls note ) and coconut buns ( the best). Will support this business more but pls make sure your turons are well cooked yo keep the crunch
This a no frills neighborhood place. Home made empanadas. Angel noodles dishes. Buns with creamy fillings. A little bit of everything Filipino and Chinese pastry. Love it. Take a number and be polite. They are working hard.
This bakery is soo good!! Pastries are absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend it. However, be patient as they do a "take a number" system. Let me tell you, it is absolutely worth the wait!! Prices are reasonable and the itmes on the hot plate look amazing and yummy. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
Another hometown favorite! Recently visited this establishment for the first time in about 6 years to show my partner around and was able to get a variety of goodies. They still only take cash though, which was a slight bummer, but the bakery goods were super affordable (pimento bread, hopia and ub
I love their chicken empanadas to death, and their wide variety of sweet breads can satisfy anyone's sweet tooth! Note that it's cash only, and make sure to grab a number when you come in.
Omg the Turon ( fried bananas) is so good! $0.60 each. Available only friday to Sunday. You can order in advance for pick up. Perfect for parties!
Valerio's City Bakery is a small family business that I think opened as a series of stores from the East Bay back in the 90s. They become popular with their Pan De Sal, a Filipino style breakfast bread from the Philippines. They also have expanded selection of other Filipino and Spanish style breads
Everything in the Bakery is delicious. Just wish that the Turon was made daily as it used to be. Now you have to pre order Thursday-Sunday. 😟
Besides bakery goods, there are other varieties of savory and desserts to choose from. Allows Credit Card payment of $5 or more.
Very nice and friendly. Love πŸ’˜ their food. Highly recommend it πŸ‘Œ.
Great Filipino food and reasonable prices. I don’t cook, I just come here and ordered for lunch and dinner.
