Taqueria La Mordida - San Jose - Photo album

As far as Mex food goes this place is the real deal. Seating is limited so ordering to go is your best bet is to order to-go. Update 21 Jan 2020 - Sorry to hear about the fire. Hopefully insurance acts fast along with the city to get the doors open.
What can I say, just amazing. A tad expensive but considering the size of the portions I'm okay with it. I typically get the super grilled chicken burrito and have never been disappointed. The flavor is great, the mix of ingredients is perfect, they hold together well, and their salsa has the right
Amazing food! Order the molcajete! You won't regret it!
My favorite local taco spot. The tacos are so good I haven't tried anything else on the menu. Reminds of some of my favorite taquerias in San Diego. The salsa bar has radishes, fresh hot peppers, and other stuff you don't see as often here in the bay area.
This place is delicious. The food is fresh, and the staff is friendly. They make their own chips, and have great salsa. I would recommend this place to any one and every one. Its definitely a little whole in the wall, but worth it.
This is a hidden gem. The Chile Verde was the best I've ever had. Spicier than most but combined with rice, beans and tortillas, it was perfect. The rice was fluffy...beans yummy. The menu isn't huge, but there are plenty of options.
To me some of the very best Carnitas around! Super friendly and fast service. My wife and daughter just love their Lengua. The plates come out looking like an Art piece!! Beautiful and Delicious!!
I'd give it a higher than 5 if I could. I had a vegeterian burrito and while it was what one might expect for rice, bean, pico, sour cream, cheese - the rice was fluffy yellow and it was AWESOME! as well as enormous. Not only that but the price was right ~$7. Now that alone made the place a 5 star t
First time here, and it’s just around the corner from our house. I had the chili verde plate and the wife had a carnitas burrito. The chili verde was a little on the fatty side. But the beans had a very good flavor, and the rice is EXACTLY how I like it. We didn’t get the torta persona, but we s
Some of the best Pastor I've had outside of Mexico. Authentic taqueria flavors and kind staff. Will be back to try the campechana. Quick service, even during busy lunch hours.
Wow! Get here early or get in the line out the door. Plato loco was a great combo: hot hit shrimp, chicken fajitas, fly grilled steak. Super nice lady making tortillas 9ut front...those corny treats are like nothing you've ever had.
Fav taqueria. The carnitas is the best. It is so tender so good. Literally love everything from here. We had there platters for my twins bday. A bit pricey for the trays but Everyone loved the food.
Ive been here couple times. The food is good but the place is too small. Most people just order take out. Good food at decent prices.
Excellent food-well prepared. Generous portions served by courteous wait staff. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this place is a gem.
Amazing taqueria! Visit there quite often, they do have very nice food and great tortas. Friendly staff and huge portions.
Solid food! Very filling. The red salsa is ok, but the green salsa is great. Hard to find but I would definitely go back
Great food. Amazing service. I like the handmade tortillas and their carne asada
