It was my first time experience here, I stopped by with my older brother to grab coffee and coffee beans for our expresso machine. The entire vibe of the place is cozy, mainly because of the Christmas decorations. The place has central heating, thankfully it made me feel warm from the cold weather o
First time here, very cool atmosphere, different from your classic coffee shops. I got the Dulce de leche coffee and it was fabulous. Will come here again.
Note that they do have a limited number of pastries and they do not heat them up, although that’s a bummer I appreciate the upfront disclosure.
It was entirely different set up than usual cafes. And hence quite interesting IMO. So you can walk inside to the store and put in the order. Then the coffee is delivered outside at the front window. Knowing that would definitely help save some time.
The coffee was good. It’s a quiet place to work.
Love coffee and atmosphere here, service could be not so friendly when busy time.
If you come on the weekends, be prepared to wait. At least 15-20 min.
I visited a few weeks ago and their coffee was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good, but wished it was faster.
They have a variety of coffees and pastries, including coffee beans from all over the world
Great coffee and a nice environment. We tried latte and dark coconut mocha, which were both delicious! Will definitely come back. It would be possible to order online, skip the line and just pick up your order. They sell packs of coffee beans with different flavors such as berries, peach, plum, choc
I have been going to Chromatic Coffee for a while now, at this location as well as another they had before the pandemic. They are very serious and dedicated about their coffee, I personally love their DCM (dark chocolate mocha). It has a very fun ambience being located in an old converted warehou
A great local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. Unfortunately 6/8ths of their massive space is cornered off for roasting and warehouse needs. I’ve seen other places roast using less than half that space by streamlining their set up (look to Compass Coffee in DC for an example). What I could s
Beware the tasty food! Even though the staff can’t heat up the pies, they were still delicious! I appreciate that both savory and sweet personal pies were available. Drinks were amazing as always. I’m particularly fond of the dark coconut mocha.
Atmosphere and seating leave something to be desired,
We ordered dark coconut mocha, dulce de leche latte, raspberry almond tea cake and guava cheesecake pie.
I absolutely loved their dark coconut mocha, it was velvety smooth and had rich chocolate and bold coffee flavor along with the essence of creamy coconut. I was sold on my first sip. Definitely w
The coconut mocha was great - smooth, rich, not too sweet. There are many different bags of freshly roasted beans available for purchase, with details written down about each one. Or you can order for pickup online and the beans will be roasted to order (in 2 weekdays according to their FAQ)! I didn
Best coffee roasters in the South Bay Area! High marks for the vibe of the shop, the taste of the coffee, the knowledge of the staff, and overall experience.
The Coffee:
The coffee here is extremely fresh. They offer coffee from producers in South America. The coffee is recently roasted (ours was r
I came here after 3-4 years looking for the creme brûlée coffee that I had back then and they no longer had it. Bummer! Because I wanted my sister to try it. They did have a dulce de leche which was a good substitute but there was no thrill of cracking the glazed top like of the crème brûlée. I got
Stopped at chromatic on the way to Monterey. I love finding local small roasters to visit when traveling. I loved the location. Fun cool spot. Coffee was good and simple variety. I loved that they had their own syrups. Coffee beans are a little pricey for what you get. But other than that it's a gr
10/10 atmosphere and they actually care about their coffee here. Each bean they sell comes with a postcard detailing where it’s from, how it’s roasted and how to brew it! They even gave me some complementary beans (I was going to buy them!) to make at home!
Coffee is great and you can buy freshly roasted beans in store. The pastries could be great but there's no reheating capabilities in store. The cafe is within a warehouse and seating is limited
Awesome place and awesome people, hou can find some great coffee in here, the place is just amazing with a lot of refined touches to make you feel in a very nice environment. Really recommend you to come in here !
