Honestly, I love this place so much. I went there a month ago and got two tamales and the two taco combo plate. My boyfriend got a California burrito. We both loved our food. The taco meat was a little dry, but still. The beans and rice it comes with is soooo delicious. They treat the customer soooo well, I get like put off with how patient they are with Mt boyfriend and I ordering hahahaha. Today I got a taco salad, my boyfriend got a California burrito again (a man of routine) and we got nachos to share. 10/10. We loved it. So much good food and such a good price. The guy who did our orders was so nice. I wanted to hug him he was so nice lmao. They made our order to our specific modifications. I live in San Diego county and I find myself thinking of this place all the time haha. Its not five star food, but it makes me feel good and like, warm after it. Like family type warm. Its great.

While the kitchen looks a bit ratty from the outside, they are dishing out some pretty good food here.

The chicken chorizo is good, as well as the tacos and enchiladas. I am not a fan of the steam table, but the food here is properly seasoned (as in WELL seasoned) and doesn't leave you wanting. It's not one of those place you go, like so many, where there is just a je'ne'sequa missing from the dishes.

Try to go for lunch or early evening before the steam table food has been sitting too long. With  a huge selection of dishes, there is a lot to try here.

Dreaming of Mexican food in Hawaii. Good straight forward Mexican food. Lots of choices but we go for the off menu lengua. They have menudo on the weekends. There's lots of tripe in the menudo, comes with tortillas and the usual sides (cilantro, lilme, onions) You can add more from the side bar too. Prices run from $3-4 dollars for the breakfast items (pancakes, breakfast burritos, chilaquiles) to $6 -ish for the combinations. Didn't see anything above $7. Love the yummy agua frescas -mango is my fave!
There's an attached bakery too where they sell all kinds of yummy pastries and ice cream. I notice they do catering- do you ship to Hawaii? Please??!!!

Legit Mexican food. I ordered a shrimp burrito and a cheese quesadilla. Both, some of the best I've had. If you're familiar with Albertos in the OC, the food is very similar as is the salsa; very vinegary -- if you like that style. I personally do. Gets super busy during lunch, but plenty of seats to go around. The line does move pretty quick.

Authentic Mexican food with huge portions and great prices. The mole chicken was our favorite dish and is a must try. The carne asada fries were amazing and loaded with meat. And the beef sope was delicious and also large. We also tried the crispy chorizo & potato tacos, (2) for $2.49, crunchy, spicy and cheesy, again delicious.

I live out of state and El Molino is the first place I hit when I come back here! The food portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh and the plates are made to order while you wait. I always get the shrimp taco and add rice and beans. It melts in your mouth, YUMMM. It's not exaggerating to say I dream of El Molino! In fact even writing this makes me want to go down and get the shrimp taco right now, plus chase it with a banana drink. It's that good! Thank you El Molino!

This place serves up the best breakfast burrito in San Juan Capistrano! Eggs, beans, cilantro, onion, cheese, red or green sauce, and the choice of one other item! I always get the potato with it and the red sauce! It’s so good! Go check it out if you are looking for an amazing breakfast burrito! Careful though other people have figured this out too as the line can get long on the weekends!

Great food and great atmosphere, I think knowing a little Spanish will allow you to customize and explore the menu more. Also, it makes ordering a lot easier especially when they are busy. I love the tamales and the price are pretty comparable to other places in the area. I have also purchased baked goods and they were great.

Was on my way back home from Tijuana and decided to stop in and get a bite for the road. I'm glad we did. I ordered the combination plate (#6) . It came with 4 taquitos de res (you choose the meat) with rice and beans. Btw, the rice and beans were absolutely delicious. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I even ordered a mangoneada off of their frozen cocktail specials. 👍 I absolutely recommend this place.

This is my favorite place for quality true Mexican food in the area! My favorite thing is the Breakfast Burito with green sauce with a splash of red sauce and chicken macha with onion and cilantro. One note with getting their sauces. Their green is very mild but their red is sweating hot, so take that into consideration.

This place has the best legit Mexican food I've ever tasted. I highly recommend the carne asada and carnitas tacos. Also the California burrito is pretty tasty. If you love fruit drinks, the Banana drink is the BEST! They offer fast, affordable and excellent quality of food with a home-cooked feel to it. I would give 10 stars if I could. I've visited Ensenada, TJ, Mexico City and other places in Mexico, and still always think of El Molino as my #1 go-to and feel lucky to live nearby to enjoy it! Go here, you won't regret it!

This is definitely the place for authentic Mexican Food. The Shimp Tacos are better than any sit-down restaurant and the Lingua Burritos are in a class of their own. If your idea of good food is Taco Bell, then don't come here!

Last night I had the best burrito I've had in a long time. The green salsa was delicious and fresh. This place has amazing food and customer service. We were greeted with smiles when we arrived and left. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.

Yum. Been coming here for 17 years. Always great food. Full of delicious Mexican flavors and many different dishes to choose from. And the bakery has the best authentic Mexican bread. I will make the hour drive to this place just to get the custard filled bread 😋 😋 😋 😋 It's a great place to go if you have kids cause nobody here cares if they're loud lol. And they have a baby changing table which is always convenient.
