Nautical Bean is a local coffee shop that has a extensive menu for drinks and breakfast items. They have three locations across SLO now with this being the original location They are known for being a hip coffee shop with drinks featuring their drip coffee that you can choose variations from. My favorite is usually the black and white which is a mocha coffee with both black and white chocolate in it. You also can just get the drip coffee and do you own drinks. The atmosphere is very friendly and lots of table space for people to do work or students to study. (Plugs are available at the seats near the walls) Parking is plenty as its in the same plaza as CVS, grocery outlet, and 99c only stores

I understand why this place has such good reviews. Great coffee and baked goods. Using cornbread for the blueberry muffin works amazingly and the vanilla latte is perfect. Hoping to come back this week to try some sandwiches or breakfast. 4.9/5.

A local coffee gem! The coffee selections, friendly service and yummy food make this a regular stop for me. Lots of seating indoors and outside patios. Did I say free refills? Oh yeah!

Cute cafe with music and good people servicing!! We had avocado toast and bagel with espresso. Gluten free brownie was good as well.

I absolutely love nautical bean. Always delicious, fresh, hot and aromatic. Whether food or drinks, you can't lose here. Kids love it, I love it. A lot to choose from, good prices, fast service, and outdoor seating. Support the local business, go here if you have not. Large parking lot, easy to find.

Nautical Bean PROS: + Great for working! + Plenty of outlets available for charging devices + Friendly and welcoming service! + The patrons seem to be made up of regulars who frequent this place often + Fun and colorful decor -- hammerhead shark, Elvis portrait, skateboards, and local art. + Laidback, chill vibe + Good playlist + Fun menu with lots of drink options and healthy food options. Their "House Drink" menu looks interesting and unique + Cabbage & Chicken Salad is fresh and large, but the dressing is a little bland. Also, the ramen noodles are an odd touch + Tuna Melt tastes fresh and healthy. Not greasy like most melts I've tried. The side of cabbage slaw is very underwhelming. Overall, the food is just okay. + Super easy parking + Convenient location by lots of shopping and eateries. + Nice outdoor seating + Good wifi + They offer "sippy" lids now to replace the use of straws CONS: - A little on the dim side. Other than that, everything else is perfect. Love this spot!

Nautical Bean has a very nice menu, especially their salads, wraps and bakery goods. The coffee selection is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and professional. Since they lost their parking lot patio, the outdoor seating is very limited, and it can get crowded inside.

Super friendly staff. Delicious food. I highly recommend the California bagel. And the lovely little patio where you can enjoy everything. I will be back.

The food is delicious but the coffee is even better. The inside design is super cool with skateboards and lunchboxes attached to the walls .
